Having played a lot of platformers in the past, Hoa is def. one of the more simpler ones. It is super nice to get into the genre without feeling frustrated.

Music and artstyle are just so absolutely amazing! Can't really say much except WELL DONE!

The complexity is easy to medium. There are a handful of gameplay mechanics you'll learn on your way and which will help you to get around. But it's not like you would find yourself having a hard time because of a jump you have to study gameplay for. Getting closer to the end though there is a slight change in gameplay that is more challenging. Especially people that struggle with reversed controls and/or screen behaviour might want someone as backup to help them go through.

Comparing this to other game of the same genre I'd give it a 7/10. There were minor problems in the animated cutscenes that made the cutscene go back and forth. Also, the story is not as deep as I wished it to be, it's rather lovely and flat. For the small amount of people that worked on this project, I really loved how far they got with this!

Ein verspielter Soundtrack und ganz eigener Artstyle laden schon in der ersten Minute zum Erkunden und Ausprobieren ein. Mit verschiedenen Schiebe und "Schachzug" Rätseln wird hier spielerisch ein mehrstufiges Spielerlebnis geschaffen mit einer Story, die ohne Worte erzählt wird. Was hier keineswegs für zu wenig Tiefe sorgt, ganz im Gegenteil. In den knapp 90 Minuten Gameplay hat das Spiel mehr zu sagen als ein BWL Professor in einer 4-stündigen Vorlesung.

Wer ein kurzes, schön in Szene gesetztes Spiel sucht mit einer kleinen Achterbahnfahrt an Emotionen und gutem Soundtrack, kommt hier voll und ganz auf seine Kosten. Absolute Empfehlung!

Dude, where's my beer ist ein tolles kleines Indie Point-and-Click Adventure mit knackigen Rätseln. Auf der Suche nach einem normalen Pilsner in einer Stadt voller Craftbiere kostet man sich krampfhaft durch die widerwärtige Auswahl an Gesöff. Dabei darf die Betrunkenheitsskala nicht fehlen, die auch noch einen entscheidenden Faktor im Gameplay darstellt!
Es gibt dutzende Referenzen zu bekannten und alten Größen der Point-and-Click Geschichte, ein Interface nach traditioneller Manier und ein wunderschön in Szene gesetzter Zeichenstil.

Einziges Manko ist, dass es leider nicht für die deutsche Lokalisierung gereicht hat, aber das stört im Großen und Ganzen nicht, da viele Textpassagen im sehr leicht zu verstehenden Englisch geschrieben sind.

Für den Preis eine absolute Empfehlung um ein paar Stunden in Erinnerung an alte Klassiker zu schwelgen (und dabei ein, zwei oder fünf Bierchen zu trinken).

Großartig erzählt, eine ganz eigene und in sich passende Grafik und eine regelrechte Einladung zur Erkundung der Spielwelt. Zum Kickstarter Launch supported, über 1 Jahr nie dazu gekommen es zu spielen und jetzt endlich das Erlebnis nachgeholt. Eine Perle der Natur!

Mirrors Edge meets Cyberpunk. You slash and jump your way through amazingly well designed levels, trial and error with all sorts of enemies and follow an incredible captivating story.
Only thing I regret is, I didn't buy a pillow. Now there's a bump in my desk and my wrist seems broken.

One of the best Indie Bullethell Shooters on the market. Absolute fantastic pixelart, interesting story to follow inbetween bossfights and really cool animations and gameplay mechanics. This was an absolute blast!

Guilt Free is a lovely hand-drawn little story about a couple going through hard times because of eating disorder and depression. You can tell by the way this story gets told, how much love and enthusiasm was put in this game.

If you're looking for a short game to tell a big story, pick up Guilt Free!

An absolutely wonderful experience. Even though 2020 was a total mess most of the time, playing this game just made the year a whole lot better! <3

"Jessika" ist mehr als ein leichter Happen, es ist ein regelrechter Kloß im Hals. Die Story setzt sich wie ein Puzzle Stück für Stück zusammen und wird durch eine professionelle Schauspielerin gut und authentisch in Szene gesetzt. Man bekommt schnell ein Gefühl für das Gameplay und wird sehr schnell in die Story gesogen. Hier und da gibt es einige Buchstabendreher, die aber kaum weiter auffallen.
Wer gerne Detektiv spielt und es liebt, sich in das Leben anderer Menschen zu versetzen, wird bei "Jessika" voll auf seine Kosten kommen.
Eine Idee die mir beim Zocken kam, war eine Bildschirm Tastatur. So könnte man das Spiel auch mit Controller spielen, wenn man wollte.
Einziger Verbesserungswunsch wäre eine Möglichkeit, bereits bekannte Dateien in einer Ordnerstruktur wiederzufinden für einen schnellen Zugriff. Das erschwert und frustriert ggf. wenn man mal schnell nach einem Hinweis suchen will.

There's much more to this game than just a funny coop (even though, this is most fun and enjoyable of all)!
I've been playing it for some hours now, with friends and some Singleplayer, on both sides. You can gather keys and map fragments to unlock new stuff, create some maps for other players or just enjoy beating your own time records. Definitely worth checking out and just the right amount of content you would expect for an Early Access game.
I'm really interested to see what's coming with the next updates!
