DayZ 0.60 is the game changer. The new renderer is now implemented, which brings massive framerate increases across the board (even in cities). Yeah it's all a year or two late, but we can finally see what they've been working on all this time. There is still a lot to come in future patches including the audio system (see Arma's "Eden" audio), player controller (for better movement/animations), and larger numbers of zeds. So it's far from done. But there is still a lot of new stuff to see if you're returning, including new zombie behaviour (fence jumping!), overhauled coastal cities, new military facilities in the North, and a decent range of vehicles.

2015 was a bad year for DayZ, and I started to lose faith. But now... itshappening.gif

Update: 0.61 even better. When it hits stable, get in.
