This remake is incredible. So much more challenging than the original and is addicting as hell to play. Made me stay up til 3am once I was so hooked.

Sometimes I set the fps to 30fps to remember what the PS4 version was like.

Good game. Very hard. FromSoftware's 2nd hardest game before Sekiro.

This game has a lot of technical issues from heavy texture pop in to stuttering to wildly different GPU loads between scenes but at its core is an enjoyable modern adventure game with beautiful art and an intriguing story.
The game starts out slow and the cutscenes/animations are unpolished near the beginning but as the game progresses the production quality for everything gets much better; though it takes around 3-4 hours of playtime before it does so.
Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys classic/modern adventure games and also has a beefy PC.

If Resident Evil 4 was actually scary.

Easily my favorite Final Fantasy now and I've finished FF6, FF7, FF8, FF9, and FF10.
The plot is interesting and kept me interested the whole way through. The writing is also top notch. Probably the best writing in the series. My only gripe with this game is that it feels like it's missing a lot of time for developing specific characters.
The gameplay is fantastic. I love programming so I love the Gambit system which allows you to "program" your party members to do actions at specific circumstances.
The music is also excellent. Not quite as good as FF9's OST but it is up there in quality.
The game is also pretty stable and runs well. I've only crashed once in my 45 hour playthrough and it was right after an autosave so I lost zero progress.
Also if you have a GSync monitor I'd recommend turning on Fast Sync for this game.

Overall: Fantastic game with fun gameplay, great sound, and a compelling story.

The final game is worth the $15 alone.
