Never played this when originally released as I believe my PC wasn't up to snuff, but amazing what was considered snuff then! Fantastic fun here, even if it's a very dated. God mode is your friend though - wayyyyy too much combat at the end. Hope the sequel balances skills a bit better there.

As a fan of turn-based strategy games, you owe it to yourself to give Age of Wonders 3 a go. It's beautifully detailed with lots of nuances, and real strategy with a variety of units. Plus, the meta-spells, dungeon raids, etc... really well done.

One of the best tower defense games I've ever played. Great rollout of new towers, upgrades, magical powers and enemy types, and with incredible replay value.
