Hello out there, whoever you are.

I've come to realize that all of my letters have been getting intercepted. Routed through you all this time. But it doesn't matter anymore.

There’s no longer a reason to write, not since I found myself. Outside of the chance that this final letter ends up with you, like all the rest.

So here it is.

After many dark nights. Many dreams and visions where the dawn seemed impossible. The sun did rise.

In my final dream, something appeared in that endless expanse. A single pinpoint of light, growing into an unbearable radiance. I followed. And when my eyes adjusted, I was back on the hill.

I saw the elk. Still waiting.

When it turned and disappeared into those woods, I knew I had to find myself in that place. And as soon as I opened our eyes, I did.

Now I see it clearly. The path we’ve been on all this time is only just beginning. The elk sheds its antlers, moves onward. And so do we.

The road ahead is long. It may stretch across oceans. Across continents. Across everything we once thought we knew.

There’s still so much to see.

And many stops along the way.
