If you like salt and tears you'll find plenty of that in endgame chat. Really love this game :)

Update 2023: They really did a great job this year. Alien, Chucky as well as the return of Stranger Things (I already had it but it's great to see others being able to get it now too).

Update: Finally S5. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This is the worst thing I ever had to witness in more than 25 years of gaming. I don't event want to list the things I dislike because I already wasted 2h of my time.

Like many said this game is a pure gank. They literally hold you in the game for two hour with the tutorial and after that you exit the safe oasis and enter your doom. They follow you around with their superior walkers and shoot you with the harpoon to stop you and enter with three to five guys at least and oneshot you. You have no chance of defending against them or to level to be able to stand the fight against them. Those €20 are totally wasted

I found this "game" while I was looking for cheap games with trading cards on the store and added it to my wishlist. I finally bought it during the holiday sale 2016 and started it yesterday. To be honest the game was not what I expected it to be... It was really short but too long for a healthy person. I don't know what depression feels like but this was enough for me to state that I don't want to ever know. It is slow and after the first minute you start to become as shiftless as the protagonist.

I guess the whole game tries to pull you down to a level where you can feel what a depressed person might feel and that you try to understand what that whole illness is about. Of course I chose the (in my opinion) good door but in the end I was alone with a subdued feeling that I can do nothing.

When I started the game in November 2016 it had many flaws of which most still exist.

- If you miss anything being said you better have a saved before of you will have to talk to people and hope you find the right one.
- Some HORRIBLE typos... (someone in another review mentioned "I'm a minor" instead of miner)

I missed something right after starting Chapter 2 and stumbled around in confusion and pain until I didn't have the mood to continue and so I stopped playing the game. One achievement was bugged so and after the fix I continued playing and by chance I found the right person I missed earlier and after some time I was able to defeat the game. But the final achievement didn't trigger so I went on a mission finding what was wrong and with the help of DrIch of the dev team I was able to find some things out. I started all over again and atm everything works fine in the game. The errors mentioned above do still exist but the game is inexpensive enough to turn a blind eye to those minors ;)

After all that being said if you do like the old school games on Game Boy like Zelda, etc then go on and buy this game. I did like the music and the story is okay, too. But be prepared to do not do all quests if you want that last achievement as it only triggersfor doing half of them right now.

I bought 7 Days To Die during the A14 period and greatly enjoyed it. We teamed up on a 4-man server und played like there was no tomorrow. We quit for a while because we had other stuff to do shortly before A15 and when I got back from Seattle two weeks ago we started again and again we sometimes played until dawn.

During A14 there were several parts that were really easy which are now quite hard in A15 like farming sand. I feel it's a p.i.t.a. now as well as the crafting table that makes sense now to have one. I have a good feeling about the development progress of the game which is REALLY slow. Faster progress and more small adjustments would make the experience a lot better.

After all I'd recommend this game when sale is available because the slow progress is not worth the full price.

Luckily I got this game as a gift from someone on the forum. It costs €4,99 but instead they would have to pay you for playing this piece of crap. There aren't enough saints you could invoke to help you brave this game.

The only positive thing I noticed was the seemingly enhanced graphics. People wrote the graphic is bad but with all options set to max it is doing quite okay for a game of that price.

I played this now for about half an hour or maybe even a full hour but I still haven't figured out what to do. The movement is totally sluggish and even the mouse on max sensitivity moves really slow. You throw someone in a hack n slash game and an hour later he still has neither a weapon nor seen an enemy? You definately did something wrong. A few riddles are okay but the main reason I play HnS games is I want to simply do what the genre suggests: Kill HORDES of monsters and other enemies and I don't want to run around in desperate search for a weapon and never find one.

I'll keep the game running until I got my three trading cards and then I'll sadly have to uninstall this abbomination of a game :(
