An absolute treasure.

With all of the survival games on Steam it's hard to recommend this one, solely on the game's stability on the latest edition of Windows 10 and new hardware. It's so unstable, I experience crashes often, I have to restart the game if I switch my audio device, the interface is clunky. I like the concept and the visuals, mostly, but that isn't really enough. Sorry. Thumbs down.

I love the shading used in this game, the dynamic soundtrack is absolutely amazing, gameplay keeps you playing for long hours into the night. I've met some cool people in quick matches, and even though I was matched in seconds, we all worked together for hours and hours. The rogue-like elements aren't too harsh, losing a run isn't entirely the end of the world, and there is a persistent reward system. I feel like the rogue-like elements have a purpose: to get you to enjoy and adapt to everything this game has to offer.

This game was a cash grab scam with no soul behind it. Everyone who backed it was tricked and lied to. It was released 6 years ago in pre-release with no real progress to be made. Just recently it was released fully again, and along with it, DLC. For people like me who paid up front for a game to be developed over the course of 6 years, to release DLC and have us pay extra for what's still a broken game. Absolutely garbage.
