I would not be playing this anymore if I hadn't put 2k hours into it and something better would be out there :)

Pros:
- Vast and unique world
- Combat is fun and classes are diverse, its really fun to click the buttons
- All legion raids still hold relevance even after people crafting their respective sets
- Progressing to the end game is relatively fast nowadays (Good catchup mechanics/events shoving mats down your throat)
Cons:
- All content essentially dead or close to it besides legion raids
- Hard to get into when you do hit the end game with learning parties being in short order. Exp players are more inclined to kick for someone else just to clear it and move onto the next raid
- Progression at the top is an absolute grind with a ridiculous amount of rng system (with only one with pity system)
- You have to make a choice between efficiency, fun and eventual burnout

I'm on the verge on quitting, having seen all the game has to offer. Doing the legion raids is fun yes but everything else just beats you down sucking the life out of you with rng ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you over for weeks on end with absolutely 0 progress to show for the effort you've put in. That's been my experience, some people might disagree and think that gear progression is a breeze but it just proves the fact that people play a vastly different game 100% depending on how lucky you are or how deep your wallet is. With a constant push to keep up with your gear the hellish marathon never ends
