Probably the best, most consistent mania series. Etterna with a budget. The base game has enough to keep you busy if you like chasing scores but you'll probably want the DLC if you're a longtime DJMAX fan. That can get pricey. If you casually play rhythm games maybe wait for a sale. Also, you won't be modding this one. That said, if you're the type to spend a lot of time with these game it is absolutely worth it.

Hired Gun is a good game that currently has some problems. It plays well for the most part but there are a number of bugs that Streum On is already addressing. Considering this studio consists of twenty one people it's nice to have communication from them on day one about the state of the game, patch number one, as well as things they are already working on for future patches. With that said, should you buy it?

The issues I've had in my first twelve hours are as follows:
-Audio mixing needs a lot of work. NPC dialog can be very difficult to hear at times
-Takedown animations can be sloppy and sometimes make both character models clip or just send you flying.
-The game crashed on me twice. I lost zero progress however.
-A weapon texture in my inventory screen was heavily distorted.

The Good:
-The game is gorgeous with excellent art design, a fantastic soundtrack and a commitment to all things 40K (so I'm told. I know very little about warhammer).
-Movement options are nice. You can slide, dash, air dash, grapple, wallrun and double jump. It would be nice if they could unlock the y-axis but this is extremely uncommon in FPS. (See DUSK)
-Weapons are a lot of fun and the combat in general is a blast. That said, you get what you give here. If you use the movement and offensive options the game gives you, you'll have a good time.

Early Access Review
Prodeus is an excellent mix of old and new. There's no bunny hops and you have to reload, but movement speed, level design and music more than make up for that. It's well worth the $25 for early access. People who are saying it's three hours long are not including secret hunting, perfecting runs, higher difficulties, challenge maps or user created levels. If you love boomer shooters you should absolutely buy this.

This game is cute, fun and easy. I encountered two game breaking bugs in one hour of play. That said, it is short enough to start over and not hate your life.

Edit* The dev reached out to me asking wht the bugs were because they wanted to fix them. I sent them a video of the exact bugs and they are working on them. beyond impressed.

10/10 would squid again.

Loved this game so much. Inspired by Dagon and One Hundred Years Of Solitude. An FPI for people who want a little more interaction than the genre typically provides. This game was beautiful.

Mortal Kombat 9 is by far the best in the series. It is the most balanced and mechanically sound entry and the PC port plays well.

The biggest issue is that the game doesn't close properly. Some players are able to end task, but other actually have to restart their pc. This is a major issue. I'd recommend the Xbox 360 version.

*edit:
Not sure if this was patched but I've had no issues closing the application recently. Buy this.

Early Access Review
Road Redemption is a great example of early access done right. In the game's current state I would gladly pay full price. The game feels complete and that's more than can be said for most early access titles.

Road Redemption is also a fantastic game and extreamly fun. In recent years we've been getting an insane amount of spiritual successors. Many of these games either disappoint or just manage to live up to the titles they're inspired by. That is not the case here. Road Redemption is not only a good successor to Road Rash, it is largly better.

The Sims 3 is hands down the best in the series. It adds to what the first two Sims games got right while removing the less than perfect apects.

Even with The Sims 4 having been out for a few years now, this is the title you should go with. The Sims 4 is a significant step back for the series unless visuals are incredibly important to you.

Extreamly fun. Every bit as good as the original typing. We have most of our guests play this game.

Will help improve your typing skills in an entertaining way.

Highly recommend it.
