2005 time capsule

As much as I enjoyed most of my time with DD2 when it works, the myriad quest breaking bugs and questionable design decisions have soured my opinion of this game over time. This is the first game I've been almost unable to finish because the main quest can break easily and i lost nearly an entire day of progress. I had to go through the last section of the game several times for everything to finally work correctly. It's shameful for Capcom to release a game as broken as this, it could have easily done with at least 6 months of QA because it honestly feels like they haven't done any.

Until they fix these problems, which I really hope they do, DD2 isn't worth half its price for the amount of frustration you'll undoubtedly get. It's a shame because there's a rather decent, if still flawed game hidden under all those problems, and I wish i could recommend it.

Even better than its predecessor, with new enemies ported from Half-Life 1 and Opposing Force and several other modded ones to spice up the gameplay. Very well made, with quality rivaling that of the original HL2 and its episodes. Worth a playthrough for any Half-Life fan.

This is actually much better than it looks. Probably the most in-depth and well made zombie survival game around. Highly addictive.

Good fun and can be very immersive, but needs more PvE content. Also lots of bugfixes.
