For those of you who loved Empire Builder and other contract-driven games, this game is for you. Seriously. And the premise is simple, just taking goods from one area to another, fulfilling contracts. This is an excellent game for those who want to get em all... one for those who love that little burst of adrenaline that you get when you cross stuff off of a to-do list, all of that.

The modules are great - each one has their own particular tweaks to get through, making it different from module to module. There are some very astute logic puzzles, as well. I would wholeheartedly recommend this game to anyone who likes logistics, contract-fulfillment, and resource-driven games.

I really want to like this game, and I hope that it gets better. The graphics and the interface is extremely clunky - there are places where the graphics are too dark and you can't see. There are also places where you're playing pixel hunt with a moving target. Having to calibrate the mouse is a touch aggravating.

I liked the gameplay - I'm a sucker for tower defense, and I like the idea of the persistent board which makes it easier to revisit levels in case they were lost. The concept that you're playing the evil one is pretty nifty, as well. I'll give it another shot in a few days.

So, I'm torn on recommendation.

Puzzle Bobble was a LOT more polished. Intergalactic Bubbles has power ups.

The first thing that I noticed on this game was that the graphics and typography was pretty basic. This is usually a coin-flipper on whether the game is going to be decent. Usually, if I'm looking at something not intentionally throwback, it means that the developers didn't want to take the time to add polish to the game. And then... the music. The music is this generic couldabeen music that is designed to slip into the background and quietly suck there. Really, it's repetitive and doesn't have anything interesting going on with it.

That said, once I started playing, I ended up in that half-flow zone playing level after repetitive level, enjoying myself. I had some frustration with not being able to flip the balls, but I did like the physics 'touch' that was added to it. The game itself is rather hyptnotic... I had played for half an hour before I realized that I'd played that long. It's soothing in the same manner that Chuzzle Deluxe Zen mode is soothing.

I bought this on sale, though I'd pay full price for it as well.
