A few issues for me... performance, modding, and legacy support

So while the game itself runs at a higher FPS than FS2020, it crashes way more. It will often CTD just as I get into a flight depending where in the world I spawn.

Modding is a massive downgrade. For FS2020 when you ran the game for the first time, it would ask where you want to put your community folder for mods. FS2024 does not have this (as far as I can tell) it is only set to your C drive. Now as someone who only uses their C drive for booting Windows, my C drive doesn't have a lot of storage, and with the size of mods and addons for this game, I'm barred off from modding.

Legacy Support is also horrid. You'd think for how similar FS2020 and FS2024 are that you could just import your controls from one game to the next, but nope. You have to redo all your controls.

There's also a minor thing that I really liked in FS2020 that isn't in FS2024 and that's changing the menu music. The menu music for FS2024 is fine but I liked starting FS2020 and hearing the FSX music.

I don't play The Sims as a life-sim, so personally I don't care about features The Sims 4 is still missing that The Sims 3 had.

I play The Sims 4 as a house designer and personally I think the build mode in The Sims 4 is the best it's ever been in The Sims. Building homes is simple and fun if you play The Sims just for the building you'll have a great time. Now as a follow up to The Sims 3? I haven't played much of the core experience for both so I don't really have any basis for it.

But as a house builder it is really fun. And now that the base game is free I'd give it a try regardless.

I didn't realise Dovetail would go the route of EA and do yearly releases of the same game. If you want a good train simulator, get Train SIm Classic. You don't need to spend $60 every year just to get access to DLC

Nice calm game for skiing and snowboarding

I don't have a lot of time put in the game but for me it feels off. The physics are off (From what they were with Forza Motorsport 6, the last Forza Motorsport I played) Forza used to be a good simcade game now they've leaned too heavily into sim. The menu is clunky. Textures flicker. If you don't run it on an SSD the load time is horrid. If you don't have it install models and textures just won't load. The soundtrack isn't that good. None of your livery files will transfer from older games.

Do yourself a favour and get and Xbox and buy Forza 7 or even 6 (because that's the only way you can play it now).

Seriously tho what it with racers leaning more into sim? You don't go to Forza for sim, that's what Assetto Corsa is for. You go to Forza for Simcade

It's a good game but the map feels dead. I'd add NPCs snowboarding around like in the game We Ski
