1.9 hrs on record
I want to preface this review by saying: I'm usually pretty forgiving of performance issues in games. I have over 100 hours on Mass Effect Andromeda between PS4 and PC, and usually give some time for the developer to put out bugfixing and stability patches because I recognize that game development is hard. But this time: as someone who was looking forward to this I can honestly say this is one of the worst performing titles I have ever played on my PC.

The first time I launched it, I got massive framerate dips walking around the Milano for the first time, followed by a cutscene that was incredibly choppy, followed by the game not recognizing the xbox one controller (I think, i'm not sure why a/b and x/y were swapped.

I have an i7 9700k, 32gb GDDR4, and a 2080ti overclocked edition, and while i know that's not the beefiest thing on the market (I couldn't sell my kidneys for a 3000 series, sorry) that's got to be able to count for something when trying to play a game at higher fidelity graphics. And not be super choppy most of the way through the tutorial

I was prepared to say: "okay, maybe this is on me. Maybe I shouldnt be selecting 4k @ 144hz. thought i could run it but guess not" and then I managed to soft lock myself after selecting a dialogue option at the end of the tutorial. Great.

Was really looking forward to people saying this was the next great space adventure. Disappointed to say the least
