I was taken aback by the sudden popularity of the game and wrote it off pretty quickly simply because I didn't think it was for me. If this sounds like you, reconsider. I tried it out somewhat against my will but by god am I glad that I did. This is a management sim with a unique game-play loop unlike anything I've played before, and it's addicting as hell. That alone makes this game worth a try, but what truly sucked me into Umamusume was the insane world building and the connection it has to real life horse racing. There was so much love and care put into this world and its characters and that is an undeniable fact. Watching video essays about the horse girls and their real life horse counterparts has made me genuinely sob more than a few times. This franchise is truly one of a kind and absolutely worth checking out, even if you don't think it's something you'd be into. The gacha elements are a relatively small aspect of this game and you can get hours upon hours of fulfilling game-play out of Umamusume without spending a dime. Umamusume deserves all the love and attention it's getting and more. I can't wait to witness how this franchise evolves now that this game is globally released.

Soundtrack is amazing. Aside from that, there's nothing incredibly unique setting PockeDate apart from other games of its genre, but it's still worth checking out if it piques your interest.

Went into this game as a simple rat enthusiast, ended up absolutely obsessed with nonogram puzzles. As of writing this review, my rat's home is just 1 chair sitting on the floor because all I've done is play the puzzles for 14 hours. I love rats and I now love nonograms. Game is perfect. I only wish I could give my rat a friend because I fear my intensive puzzle playing is putting a serious damper on his socialization.

Black Tabby Games are some of the most talented story-tellers and developers I have ever had the pleasure of discovering. Scarlet Hollow is an unsettling visual novel that will keep you hooked the whole way through. If you enjoyed Slay The Princess, I can say with utmost confidence that you will enjoy Scarlet Hollow just as much, if not more. If you're thinking about it, go for it. I loved every second of this game and I cannot wait for the release of future chapters.

Absolutely wonderful little retro-style 3D platformer. The worlds are beautiful and immersive and very rewarding to explore. With so much to see and discover, there really isn't a stale moment of gameplay. Playing classic Spyro games were some of my fondest childhood memories, so this really struck a chord with me in particular. Finding the dragon eggs (the main point of progression) and figuring out how to get them is so much fun. Some of the puzzles are tricky, but nothing overwhelmingly frustrating; the balance between effort and reward is done incredibly well. This game evokes the same wonder and curiosity that I felt when I was a kid playing Spyro: Year of the Dragon, even down to the way the controls feel and the way I learn the mechanics. If you're a fan of old 3D platformers, enjoy puzzle games, or are simply intrigued by the aesthetics, Cavern of Dreams is well worth your time.
