If you enjoy the classic fantasy characters from any media, mainly including Dungeons and Dragons, and want to not only delve into a dungeon yourself, but team up with friends, fight monsters, loot treasure, fight others, maybe even team up with them, and escape with your loot, then this game is destined for your library.
Now to be perfectly clear, this game has recently become free to play (where previously it had been in paid early access), but it is more of a smaller, "free Demo", of the whole paid game. But, with the free version, it gives the player a considerably large chunk of what Dark and Darker has to offer, including one character slot, and the normal difficulty game mode. If you decide you love this game as much as me, you can purchase the full version, and gain access to every class with 8 character slots, a shared stash between them, and access to the High-roller game mode.
So if you're not sure you want to spend the money on the full game yet, you have great incentive to try it out. I have about 850 hours in DaD, and I still look forward to every single hotfix and update. Ironmace has brought this game such a long way from the beginning playtests, and built large, devoted community to support this absolute gem in gaming history. Some updates have been amazing, others have been not so much IMO, but the game is constantly evolving for the better. Check it out, and if you hate it, no money wasted.

A seemless soulslike multiplayer that will blow your mind. Basic combat is slightly like warframe, only because of the guns, but the rhythm of dodging the incredible bosses and even the most basic enemies will resonate in Souls players. Much better playing with friends, easy to join, and a very polished experience. 10/10

Perfect mix of Battlefield 4 and 3, Squad, and aesthetically Roblox phantom forces, except its actually immersive. Definitely worth the price tag, refund on me if otherwise. The weapon and attachment grinding actually feels rewarding and fair, and every new piece of equipment is a game changer.

If you like the forest, you will LOVE this game. fun and scary solo, more fun with friends, 8 player cap btw
