At this point I don't really have to say anything about it, but the game is good, so get it if you're curious.

A lovely game with a stellar soundtrack. However, for a game that's supposed to be so chill, the strictness of the note timing can ironically make it very stressful.

I wish I actually had friends so I could play this with them.

UPDATE: A year has passed. I still don't have friends.

UPDATE 2: I made friends, but then they stopped playing. Please wish me luck for Monster Hunter Wilds.

It could've done with a few more quality of life upgrades - like a better fast travel system that's available much earlier - but it's still a brilliant, heart-wrenching game, and I'm so glad people get a chance to play it since it was criminally overlooked upon its first release. Just do yourself a favour and unlock all the endings; it can be repetitive, but it's well worth it.

It's classic Hitman. My only issue is that the way DLC has been handled is awful.

Another fantastic Yakuza game. The story doesn't carry the emotional weight of Yakuza 0, nor is it as long or varied, but it's a great experience.

I have been meaning to play the Yakuza games for a very long time. There's nothing but glowing praise for the series in reviews, forums, groups, etc, but every time I started playing I couldn't get into it. Someone told me that I need to give it a good amount of time before the game clicks and I can safely say they were 100% right. Although at first the story of Yakuza 0 might seem a little boring since it's wrapped up in a battle for real estate, it's only a tiny part of a much, much larger picture.

Yakuza 0 may not be a game that takes itself too seriously, with its goofy side quests, larger than life characters, and dozens of bizarre yet delightful mini games, but the times where it does get serious, it becomes a genuinely gripping story which you can't wait to see what comes next, and I guarantee you there will be moments throughout this where you absolutely will be surprised by its many twists and turns. Yakuza's reputation for its absurd diversions tend to ignore how great its main story is, and even though I thoroughly enjoyed most side activities, the main story is what kept me going, and near the end I was tearing up at some of the events that transpired, which few games have managed to accomplish.

The gameplay and visuals are a little dated at time, but if you can get past those (which is easy enough to do) you will find a game that I promise you will love, and I can also promise that you'll love Kiryu and Majima, two truly excellent characters.

Just remember to give the game some time, and it will reward you for doing so.

Simply put, one of the best CRPGs ever made. Go play it.

Takes quite a bit of time and investment to get into (expect to visit quite a few wiki pages) but thanks to a helpful and friendly community along with really fun gameplay, it's not all that hard to get there. It might not be for everyone, but everyone should give it a try. The end game is pretty barebones though, so it's hard to stay invested once you've done and seen everything. Luckily DE release updates regularly

A fun game wrapped around a pretty interesting story. If only it had loot boxes it would be perfect.
