It's a really good factory game, better with friends.

I only wish I could create blueprints by placing them on top of things I've already created rather than having to build them from 0.

I can get past the lack of QOL and hard to read and navigate interface, but I can't recommend it in it's current state solely for the RNG.

The premise of the game is that it's a strategy game where each move counts. You're pursuing units over a map and simple things like focusing fire on a single unit trying to bring it down quickly or aiming for healers and mages first to remove the ranged attacks are common strategies.

The main issue is that attacks miss more than a blindfolded stormtrooper, mages and healers blocking projectiles like it's free parry day on dark souls and don't get me started on critical hits. Rangers have a skill which literally states "high chance for critical hit" and in a 20 minutes battle I had every single unit critical hit except the ranger who was using the skill.

I like the graphics, I like the story, I like the world building, it's a good premise but I just can't enjoy a strategy game where I can't apply any strategy because my every move feels like a gacha or whether im going to miss, block, crit or pull the SSR and actually hit the target.

I might update this comment with future updates, as of right now I'd say wait or buy on sale.

I finished the game in ~33h.

I liked the story but I feel like the presentation was pretty mediocre, some of the cutscenes were just tedious to watch and I feel like there are some places unresolved. Also some of the characters get their own part of the story but half way through the game they just completely dissapear to focus on the main story of the game which is not bad per se but kinda feels like the motivation for those characters to stay with the party is given for granted.

The combat is pretty good, I like its fluidity and customization and each character feels very different so if you ever get bored you just swap to another one and refresh the feeling of using the same skills all the time. The only thing I don't like is the difficulty and how much of a damage sponge enemies become on harder difficulty, while their AI doesn't change at all. In addition the AI of your companions is so basic they are unable to heal themselves which makes it an extra layer of tediousness trying to keep them alive during boss fights.

The maps feel like they ran out of either budget or interest because at first they feel pretty vibran, uniquely designed with lots to explore and later in the game it's just a copy paste with some blocking puzzles to have you reuse the same zones over and over, lazy development. The variety of monsters is also not that great and they reuse the same 7 bosses throughout the game so in that regard I'd say it was a lil bit mediocre.

The OST was good, it's fully voiced so that's joyful.

Graphics in general are good, in some areas fps drop hard but I haven't had many issues, granted I have a 13600K and 3060TI so take the performance review with a grain of salt.

All in all I give it a 7/10, I enjoyed my time but I didn't enjoy it enough to try to pursue the true ending. If you can get it on a lil bit of discount I'd say its well worth it.

The UI is a bit rough and could use some work, but if you spend 15 minutes trying to understand it, it becomes easy to get through it and you find a very good idle game, not the best but has plenty of depth and upgrades to enjoy it for a few hundred hours.

This thumbs up goes to try to remove all the people who can't take a rough UI and hoping the game gets updates soon that improve the UX experience.
