it's a Shark-dev game, he hasn't missed once, and I can actually say this one is just as or if not even better than the last two.

Dunno how I have 18 hours spent on an H-RPGM game, yet here we are.

Easy 10/10. The animations are great, the scenes are meaty and on top of that, the deck building aspect of the game actually has a lot of thought put into it in terms of synergies and how enemies can muck it up for Kanna.

Recollection page also gets unlocked automatically if you'd like through the settings. No need for patches either, so if you'd like to play this on something like the Steam Deck, go nuts.

I don't think there's anything I can say that can top MandaloreGaming's review of the game, but if you're somewhat hesitant about the issues raised in that review regarding AI, you can be rest assured that all AI art has now been scrubbed from the game.

One thing I can say though is that when playing this, have a pen and paper ready, because you will certainly need it. I can also see why he thought the removal of AI art was a necessity for the preservation of the game's overall artistic fidelity, since a lot of art and lore found in the game clearly have a lot of thought put into it, and the addition of AI art for jibberish is just stuffing that's overall detrimental to the game's overall purpose.

That said, I tend to not have the motivation to bother with leaving reviews (thanks, depression), but I highly recommend this game. I'm not a horror fan, I'm doubly horrified of sci-fi horror specifically (thank you, The Thing), yet despite that, this game's story just had a lot of heart that I couldn't really stop, another thing I didn't expect was for this game to actually get me to teary on a lot of moments, which is something you don't really expect from horror in general. One thing though that isn't mentioned in Mandy's review that I believe contributes to the game's strong narrative is the inclusion of Olga Moskvina in the writing team. For those unaware, she was also a writer for a similar game you might know called Disco Elysium.

Edit: I suggest you experience this game, but you might have read from comments about how this game was stolen by the publisher. That is unfortunately true, that said, you can still get this game AND screw ZA/UM. Pirating this game DOESN'T hurt the publishers that stole the game (and therefore the entire world that is Elysium), but buying from a third party reseller that doesn't mind taking codes from purchases made from stolen credit cards DO.

Get this game from ♥♥♥, that way you get to experience the RADICAL WORLD this game has to offer AND financially hurt the company that stole the game from Robert Kurvitz and Aleksander Rostov.

It says alot when this game scratches the itch that was left behind by the OG Deus Ex and Vampire, the Masquerade: Bloodlines, two of the best ImSims ever made. That said, it's not all peaches and cherry. It's still a buggy mess, so be warned.

If anything, it has me wishing both IPs were worked on by CDPR, because boy, they definitely get it.
