I don't recommend this game to anyone.
It's a buggy mess and the developer is focused on not being shut down because of their poor decisions and the poor decisions of their parent company.
However, it is also a game that is what you make of it. I love it. Bugs and all. It frustrates me to no end and I have a blast.
I don't recommend it. If you try it, that's on you.

I love this slime-y little game. The sounds are so cute, the slimes are utterly adorable. I love to collect them and make various largos. Its got some light puzzle solving, but it not difficult. You can play it without the Tarrs, if you prefer a more chill experience, which I do. The underlying story is sweet and fun. It's got mods, if that's your thing, but I think the base game is enough.
My minor gripe, if you have a fear of falling, like me, then you may have some breathless moments as leaping about is a thing. But its not enough to make it unpleasant, just take it slow and have fun!

I've... played some Stardew Valley.
It's something I can play and play and play and never get sick of. If I get bored, I just make a new farm and play a new way. Max out fishing in the 1st spring, flowers and bundle items only, ranching only, mining only, designing farm layouts, marry whoever you want. You can mod it until it looks like whatever you want. You can play multiplayer. The fan base is one of the nicest I've ever seen.
I'll admit, I picked this up when it first came out and refunded it almost right away. It seemed clunky and not very fun.
Then, about six months later I tried it again. Obviously, I've now never stopped playing. Give it more than a half an hour. It's worth it.
