Without a doubt one of the 10 best games I have ever played, up there with Monster Hunter, Hades, Zelda, etc. The open world BEGS to be explored, and as soon as I beat it, I started a new game. That should tell you how much I enjoy this masterpiece.

80+ hrs on the switch, its a monster hunter game what else can you ask for

if you like Yu Gi Oh (which i do for some godforsaken reason) there's not much to hate here

More games that play with the conventions of genre that also contain an amazing card game to tie it all together please.

v fun roguelike

got hundreds of hours on ps4. This is an amazing game, with many QOL improvements that make Monster Hunter accessible to nearly anyone with a bit of practice.

cute game. These games aren't my style, but it's very relaxing and helped me on a tough day. The addition of multiplayer was a blessing

I've got 50+ hours on the Switch and have escaped many times on there - so don't let my low hour-count mislead you. I love this game and it is my GOTY 2020 by far. Amazing roguelite with beautiful visuals and an arresting story.

ORIGINALLY WRITTEN WITH 25 HOURS PLAYTIME

This game is super duper flawed. Most of the criticisms I hear about this game, I agree with. That being said, it's also one of the most unique multiplayer games on the market. A horror-themed 1v4 'meta-based' multiplayer is just a wacky idea, and one that I think is pulled off well enough to make me look past the flaws. I haven't had this much fun with a multiplayer game since my League of Legends days

Update 100 hours later - I'm enjoying this game more now than when I wrote this review. Game is still flawed, and matchmaking especially can be annoying as all hell, but nothing in the world of gaming is as satisfying as a good game of DBD for me.
