Short but very sweet.

This game makes you feel like you're a speedrunner just through casual play once you get a handle for the controls. There will be times where you'll think, "I wonder... if I do this then that and finish with this, can I make it up/over there?", and you definitely can; the only thing barring you is your execution (which can be difficult at times), also congrats you just found a secret unlock or skipped 5 minutes of traversal (never mind the fact that it took you 10 minutes to actually nail the movement combo...).

A lot of people compare the movement to Super Mario 64 and I agree with that sentiment, tight controls, but not restrictive. Personally, I'd also liken it to A Hat In Time.

I kind of appreciate that the map isn't too big, since there would be times I would focus on schmoovement and having too much fun and end up running around in circles.

Combat is... there. At least it's not in the way.

Lots of upgrades that make you more excited about movement as you get them, each compounding on the last one.

I also wish there was more story/a more coherent story, but hey, the game isn't pretending to be something it isn't.

All around goated game and wishing there was more of it.

This game is difficult in the beginning. I am not going to lie. It will kick your ass down into the ground, then rub your face in the dirt. It will make you want to scream in frustration, having really good items, then dying for some stupid reason. It will make you want to quit. But I implore you, please do not quit, all those bad runs are made up when you get some of the few that beat the game. Then it's like all the other failures never existed. No amount of deaths afterword can get you off the high you achieve from beating this game.

Unlocking characters? Even better. You know that after you die on that run, you can play as a whole new person with new abilities. It's truly the best feeling.

Don't even get me started on the multiplayer, just goofing off with friends is hours of entertainment. I highly recommend this game. It will beat your ass... but lovingly. It wants you to get better. And you will.
