It's pretty bad:

- Namcos 3rd time using the xenoverse format
- why do all 3 fighters use 1 health bar?
- character customization is weak

maybe if you love anime and have low standards for fighting games you might wanna get it on sale.

Fun game to play when you wanna just chill, now with multiplayer for when you wanna make someone else do the fishing.

Works with my Guitar Hero guitar for Clone Hero with some lag. Also makes my xbox 360 controller work correctly.

If you never purchased / played Xenoverse 1 then you can ignore this review and purchase it if you like Dragonball fighting games. But if you own XV1 then give this a miss it's more like a 2nd XV1 season pass, that costs £40.

New features added to XV2:

- About 3 new fighters (Slug, Cooler, Turles) and SSJ4 Vegeta if you never had him in XV1.
- More moves but none of them were really cool or good enough to make me want to add them to my custom char.
- Same with clothing, there is new clothing but nothing amazing.
- Raid events that involve killing bosses over and over again which might have been fun but I simply cannot get into a game without disconnecting, and in the rare occasions that I somehow managed to load into a game the whole team would usually get one-shot before we ran out the timer.
- Every class has a transformation now.
- New bigger area with factions to do missions for, some of these are ok but some are just a total waste of time (I don't see why Krillin can't deliver his own damn milk)

If you want even more characters / moves that were not in XV1 then you will need to pay a further £20 for the XV2 season pass.

Even some of the things that were in XV1 have somehow gotten worse, I never really had any lag issues playing parallel quests but now players are lagging all over the place and sometimes disconnecting. I don't play PVP but I see a lot of people in the discussion boards posting videos of people blatantly cheating.

And the last (tiny) problem I have with this game is that towards the end of the main story at some point you get to fight in Toki Toki City which I thought was a really cool good looking map but now having almost unlocking all of the maps I am pretty sure that the Toki Toki City map is only for that one part of the game,not the worst part of this game but it kind of bummed me out that a game with so few new features to its predecessor decided not to have this unlockable.

I just wish I knew about this before I completed the game.

It's not terrible anymore.

If you like south park, just buy it.

It's like the batman arkham games but actually good.

If you like Dragonball Z then get it.

Pros:
- Characters can be customized with basically any move from the dragonball universe.
- Story is a little different this time around. (You are not playing through the TV show like in the other games)
- Not the largest roster of characters but still every character you would want to play as is here.

Cons:
- Unlocking specific moves can be a little tedious.
- Clothing has stats so you probably won't be wearing the clothes you want but the clothes with the best stats for your char.
- Krillin keeps dying.
