Amazing game, a bit dodgy PC port with plenty of crashes but I'm more than happy to put up with it for (heavily biased opinion) the best game of 2021

Man, I really want to love this game. Such a theoretical good step for the game but it just runs so bad. Waiting for basically every new area to load in even after you've been there before, and progression is very bad. I got locked out of progression once (Freddy not moving after riding down the elevator where he should lead me to the charging station), requiring me to restart the entire game. That wasn't the biggest problem as I do like the game and franchise, and was willing to give it a second go. However, in writing this review I have been progression locked again (Animatronics getting into the security room as I'm meant to hold off, but I still survive the time), and now can't use Freddy as the objective remains uncompleted and I "shouldn't" be able to get into him. Restarting the game once was enough, not doing it twice. Please fix this game, I would really love to complete it, but I literally can't right now...

Very surprised by the game. The first half of the game might be slow to some, but the story picks up drastically in the back half and is actually interesting to think about and play through. Gameplay is fine, guns feel good and there's good variety with weapon types and Legendary guns all look unique like they're supposed to (though some bearing similarities to another looter-shooter...). Side quests are fun and engaging, same with bounties. Will continue to improve with updates and future content. Worth buying even at full price

Buy this game in like a year and a half when theres double the character roster, then it'll actually be decent to play. Not worth full price at this point in time

Extremely overpriced at full price, in no right should this cost as much as a full game even if it is the full game in VR, especially for people who already own the base Fallout. However after picking this up on sale, this is actually quite incredible. The game plays really well, and while there are a few issues such as poor aim, weird melee hitboxes and a poor desktop display to show to others, this is actually quite a blast to play and experience. Pretty incredible to see the game as it is through your own eyes. And blasting a minigun one handed while a deathclaw swings at you is pretty awesome.

Fun and diverse combat, a surprisingly satisfying gear progression system, and while the gameplay is essentially the same thing over and over again, it's always something you can pick up and play, even better with friends. Story is engaging after a good base from Injustice 1. Worth a look, if you can get a discounted price
