Meh, it was OK until I tried playing 4k vids at which point it either didn't play the video at all or lagged to the point where it was unwatchable. Which is a shame because it does have a good UI.

I wouldn't recommend this product. Mermaid VR is free and plays 4k seemlessly.

I haven't finished the game yet but I'm having such a great time that I want to post my review now.

Pros:

- You feel like a badass. You can be a straight up titan slayer and it feels great.
- Follows the story from the anime, yes, but also provides you with more of a behind-the-scenes look at certain scenarios by allowing you to be involved in the build up to moments that just 'happen' on the show (like Hange Zoe having the two captured titans to experiment on). Tells the story accurate to the anime.
- A good leveling and upgrading system that provides you with tonnes of customization options complimented by the games scaling system.
- As somebody who never played the first game, I have nothing to compare it to. With that said, it felt well executed. It's kind of hard to imagine adding an additional character into the anime without messing things up but the game does a great job.

Cons:

- A little linear, which kinda makes sense, but if you're into that kind of thing then that won't be an issue.
- Only English subs / Japanese dub (which again might not matter to a lot of people - it didn't to me but the option would be nice)
- Expensive (80 bucks!!!) - Wouldn't like to make a habit of paying this much for games.
- Your AI squad members suck and the buddy control system is a waste of time.

Overall it's easy to look past the cons and just have a great time playing. I recommend this game.

This game is pretty dope. Only played through one ending so far but it was super engaging.

The game is a cool phone simulator where you have conversations, and it did that pretty darn well. 99% of the time, my ideal response was listed.

There were a few things I didn't like. Some of the voice acting felt too.. I dunno.. Scripted? (I know it is scripted, but it was more broadway and less phone conversation) Especially Gregs.

The other things I wasn't massively fond of I can't really say without spoiling the game, so I'll keep them to myself.

9/10. Would Bang.

Actually loved it.

Pros -
New, fresh story.
Hilarious comedy throughout with lots of references to the show (and new stuff too)
Combat system.. I was skeptical at first but it grew on me.. makes the game more challenging
Lots of ways to change/improve your character unlike the first game
More freedom than the first game
Lots more special abilities outside of combat to help you figure out puzzles

Cons -
Black screen on loading the game. Had to hit alt+enter to put it into windowed
Turn based combat bugs and takes like a minute between turns sometimes, annoying.
Kinda linear, but didn't expect much else from this game
Could/should have been longer, maybe include (a LOT) more sidequests.. completed in 15hrs
