Very generic and uninspiring game.
I played through FC6 in co-op and first impressions were fun, exciting, then just bad and very watered down compared to ubis previous games. The gunplay is pretty good, the driving is very far cry, the missions however are dull, you will get some good characters and some bad ones, some you barely get to know and some just annoying as ever and imo bad writing has a huge impact in this game.

There's one character I really felt was forced to just make dumb as heck decisions and i'm sure you'll come to hate him just as much as we did. He starts making these half way through the game and you'll wish you were able to shoot this guy and put him somewhere the sun doesn't shine, but Ubi insisted that plot armour will not allow this to happen so you'll have to deal with the consequences of his dumb actions no matter how brain dead they are and unfortunately you'll allow him to get away with them without punishment as well.

The AI, I don't know why ubi didn't just take the AI system they had in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands and put it in here because that would've worked way better. once you are half way through the game the missions become easier for whatever reason, the lack of resistance on any AI protected base is dumbfoundedly lacking. some bases you'll get in with only 1 to 3 AI with no reinforcements, and some bases (mainly for missions) will have more AI however you'll kill them without much resistance still, and the reinforcements they bring will trickle in allowing you to pop them one by one 3 people at a time. it's nothing like wildlands where if you set off an alarm they will storm you with a swarm, this game feels it's made for children with how easy it actually is.

Now finally, the gearing system in this game has been made to replace their skill tree system which was a huge mistake. It allowed them to turn the game into a run and gun type of game which makes FC6 lose all its uniqueness that the previous games bought to the table.

Conclusion:
I would suggest only getting this game on a deep sale. The lack of effort and inspiration really shows and it feels like it was a rushed to get out kind of game. If you can, I'd suggest playing one of the previous far cry games over this one any day of the week. Weak game, 4/10

Solo or group, none are safe against those motors in pitch black darkness. Those insurgents really out for us.

1 hour into the game: created my character, flipped some toilet paper, almost died and got told off for stealing some dudes sandwich with a bite taken out of it. 10/10

to the 2 randoms i played this game with, i love you.

spent over an hour creating my character because I could. need i say anything else?

This game will test your friendship. They will block you, they will torment you, most of all, they will not hold the door for you.
10/10 will make you run, piss and scream like you've never done before.
