I purchased this game not really knowing what to expect. I honestly was betting that I would return it. I was very suprised to see how much I enjoyed playing 7 Days to Die. It's extremely fun playing with friends. I would discribe this game as Dying Light combined with Mincraft, minus the parkour and good graphics.

The only problem this game has that the developers should address is the frequency of patching the game. I would much rather see a monthly patch with smaller additions to the game, rather than a single patch every six months that brings a bunch of new stuff. It seems that the modding community is there to help fill this void; however, it is still resulting in a lot of new players getting board after their first month.

I initially questioned whether or not to purchase this game. The videos online seemed like a lot of fun; however, I am not much of a LARP player. After playing for less than 5 minutes, I knew purchasing this game was the right choice. I was instantly reminded of the old, Half-Life 2 mod: Battle Grounds. The major difference being that Holdfast had far better graphics and 150 players in a server! I look forward to seeing this game progress.

I just love the fighting mechanics in this game. It's unlike any other game on steam. While I do recommend this game, I would wait for it to go on sale.

This game has sold out and completely stopped listening to it's player-base. It now is a cash-grab Fortnite wannabe focused on selling skins. I purchased and once played this game because it strived to be realistic. Now you can drop in with a flamming pink mohawk with a solid gold AK. Don't bother with this game, there are better free-to-play games available now.

I have recommended this game to all of my friends. It has a lot of potential, and I have enjoyed playing the game while it has evolved into what it is today. It seems like every few weeks, the developers introduce a new vehicle or weapon to the players. I do not believe Heroes & Generals is a Pay-To-Win game; it is simply a Pay-To-Advance game. I personally have not spent a single dollar on this game, and I have not felt disadvantaged while playing. Simply put, you should try this game out... you've got nothing to lose!

DayZ Standalone offers a completely different PC gaming experience. Even though it's currently a pre-alpha, I have recommended this game to my friends. I'm excited to continue playing this game while it continues to develop.

UPDATE: I have decided to update my review of DayZ Standalone after owning it for several months now (since release day). I now do not recommend this game to my friends. The lack of updates and no community involvement really is upsetting. This game is officially one big deathmatch with very little improvements. I really feel like the developers of this game took my money and ran. I do not see this game ever releasing as a fully completed game. The developers of DayZ Standalone have already stolen more than $60,000,000. Please don't give them any more...
