A little over 20 hours in at this point, and I'm still enjoying myself immensely. The environments are immersive; particularly the sound design, and graphical attention to detail on the assets. Sure, I have Oblivion(film) flashbacks while playing, but the emergent game-play and interactions with other players that I've had, are bar-none.

The closest experience I can can provide as an equivalent, was 'The Cycle: Frontier' (but with tons of QoL improvements).

Its been a ripping good time so-far, and I'm finding it very accessible game, even while solo. Duos and Trios have been a blast as well. Its all good.

It's got good bones. The framework is there, as far as the flight modeling (though somewhat simplified). It's really as though its an homage to the old Avalon Hill games from the 90's: Achtung Spitfire!, Over the Reich, Flight Commander 2. It's a lot like those with a Tacview interface. Needs more planes :D; currently there are three Axis, and one Allied. Good stuff.

This is a game where I expect to just run the daily, and end up realizing an hour has gone by.
Continuously developed.
The developers are constantly tweaking and improving the game, nearly on a weekly if not more frequent schedule at times.

About 4 hours in. I'm liking it enough to spend 4 hours, that says something. Still playing around, still exploring, and still enjoying. Very reminisent of Starfleet Command. For the price, I would say if you enjoyed any time with Starfleet, and being as fun as it is in early stage, it's well worth the $$ spent for the time I've already mined.

I've not yet played the first iteration, but don't let it's low Metascore impact your opinion of the sequel. I'm installing and trying it (prequel) now, though I've heard most of the issues were address post release, making for a very enjoyable game.

Simple and fun. Easy to re-coup the price in value.

If "Swords and Soldiers" and "Crush the Castle" had a love child it would be named "Castlestorm". If you enjoying gaming, you have no reason not to throw a ten-spot toward this title.

One of the most cinematic gaming experiences I've ever played.

So far so good. Sound quality is excellent...

I was a fan of the first Far Cry and the last two Crysis games, just be aware.
