I was one of the people hoping for a legitimate return to bloodlines vtm game, but i figured id still give the game a shot since i love the world.
Was i disappointed? Yeah of course.
If the game removed "Bloodlines 2" from the title i think there'd be less hate, but I am genuinely having a very fun time so far.
That being said, I will still hold out hope for a future Bloodlines game more akin to what we know, but until then I can still enjoy this one in a different way.

I'll keep it easy and short as a long time Silent Hill and ryukishi07 fan.
This is one of the greatest stories ive ever experienced. I've only just finished my first playthrough but I'm going to be thinking about this game for a very long time. Ryukishi remains goated, this is one of the best horror games ive ever played.

Biggest issue ive had is some minor stuttering. Story is interesting, characters are unique and the overall changes are actually really nice to the overall game. It seems not a lot of people understand what a "Metroidvania" is, and thats ok but it is kinda funny seeing people get mad at standard mvania mechanics.
All in all, it's been fun and im usually pretty cynical when it comes to d2 expansions .
