The final few campaign missions were rather buggy at launch, should be fixed by now. The campaign is visually and character wise amazing but its the typical action movie type story. Multiplayer is solid fun and well worth it. Warzone is fun as always. DMZ could use some fleshing out and more "metagame" to it, having some rewards tied behind DMZ progression should serve well in getting some players into the game mode.

Simply the best racing game ever made. The horizon series has always had a rather good balance between arcade and simulation racing, and this one hits all the boxes just right. If you are looking for a racing game to play this should be it.

If you have recently bough Horizon 4 you might want to hold off. However, this game is better than 4 in each and every way possible. If you are deciding between this and 4, I would recommend this at full price than 4 on sale.

This game is a masterpiece of open world driving games 10/10.

This game does great service to the comics, the main storyline isn’t all too long but it’s pretty decent and takes you through a few characters throughout the storyline. This is no story game though, don’t go in expecting a masterpiece.
What I liked more than the story are the alternate timeline story snippets that you get from playing the arcade mode. These are very well put together and align with the personalities of each of the characters rather well. What was boring however was watching the same end in game cinematic for the arcade mode while going through the mode with each of the characters. This also wasn’t skippable. You are going to have to sit there and watch supes get vacuumed into the phantom zone multiple times.
The STAR labs challenges are fun and provide a way to learn particular characters while also challenging yourself. The game has previously gone free and saw a surge of players, that has long died down and will not be easy to get into a multiplayer match.
The game also has a decent selection of alternate costumes and artwork to unlock. The costumes are largely based on famous comic arcs for the characters.
I’m not really into fighting games so can’t really say much about how the gameplay compares.

This game is a puzzle platformer with amazing visual design. The gameplay revolves around switching gravity, this is accomplished by reorienting yourself using curves in the game world. The puzzles are rather chill and not too complex. The game has a story, but it is not very interesting or captivating. This is a rather short game overall; you can finish two playthroughs in about 4 hrs. There is a new game plus mode, but the puzzles do not really change in them, the thing that changes are these orbs that you need to collect to complete the puzzles. The orbs are obvious in the normal game, they become somewhat hidden in the new game+. The game is kind of costly for the amount of content here, but the game itself is rather great and I generally do like playing these short indies as you can quickly pick them up and get through them. The best things about the game are the soundtrack and the visuals. Like any good unity based indie, the game achieves really amazing visuals with rather simple visual design.

This game bought back some memories from the game Spore. Especially, the cell part of the gameplay of Spore. Sparkle has pretty similar gameplay and some quests that you receive from time to time. These quests serve more as to explain some of the concepts in the game. The description for this game suggests that every element you eat matters, and you develop special skills. This is not true really. There are 3 skills in total and you get them based on the three elements. Whichever, you spend your skill points most on dictates the skill. There is not much real gameplay there for these elements other than that. To me it seems that there was probably more planned and was cut down later. There is not much strategy, or such involved in growing your sparkle. This makes the overall gameplay rather shallow. It is a generic game with 12 levels to go through and that’s about it. The story too is rather generic and does not have much going for it. I do not really recommend this game unless you are really looking to scratch that spore itch.

The game has a simple art style. However, the visuals the game manages to pull off with it are truly amazing. Its an exploration and puzzle game with a decent story for you to discover. The parts that give out the story are rather obvious, and you are unlikely to miss them. The transformation mechanic as well is quite fun to play around with. Another thing that stands out in this game is the soundtrack. Especially when flying, its so good to the point that I am unsure whether it was the soundtrack during flying I enjoyed more or the actual mechanic. Though I would not go so far as ton call this game a “must play” it is far up there. It is a small fun little game that you can pick up and quickly complete.

This game plays like a B grade action movie. All the action in the game is amazing and there are a lot of things to destroy with a multitude of ways to approach said destruction. I had around 3-4 crashes maybe in all my playtime. The is not bad but the voice acting is quite out of touch and misses the mark a lot. The challenges are also a lot of fun and are well designed apart from one car bomb challenge that is somewhat bugged. The sky fortress DLC is the highlight among the three and makes me wish there was more of it. The traversal system is amazing due to the wingsuit being available. I would recommend finishing and completing the challenges for the sky fortress DLC before completing the base game as this makes most of the traversal a lot more fun.

This is a fun little precision platformer. The first few levels as the game teaches you new mechanics are well done. However, the scaling between levels is a bit hit or miss. Some of them just feel like its just added elements without as much consideration. The controls and the gameplay is very polished. The art style is rather simplistic, but it goes well with the game. This is a game that’ll make you rage quit.
