Not sure what happened. Not that I have a lot of playtime, obviously, but I have played on Steam Deck originally which I'm positive was verified at the time. I am now trying to play on my gaming PC and it takes forever to start and takes forever to load a game. I left it running after starting a new character to wash clothes, etc and it still hadn't loaded. I have it installed on a solid state drive with an Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti.. Used to run fine when it first came out. It is a good game, but not in it's current state

Game cannot connect to servers and, therefore, will not launch..

So far I have never been punished as much for simple exploration. If that's your cup of tea, great. I don't have an infinite amount of free time to repeat the same areas of a game for hours. Luckily, this was in a humble bundle

I don't have much playtime yet, however, this game is pretty fun. You can tell the care that was out into the animation and detail. Is it Dark Souls? No. But it doesn't need to be.

Also, they put a setting into the graphics options for "Steam Deck", so they're alright in my book.

I usually don't write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so for this one. If you have not yet paid for early access, then don't. You are better off waiting until this game is free to play. The controls are clunky and slow. When shooting, you might as well drag the mouse across the table like you are having a seizure. If you want to use a controller, you will quickly find out that the inputs for it are bugged. As some other users have stated, you will fire your weapon continously or be unable to aim down the sights.

As far as gameplay goes, you aren't missing much. It the grindy unlock system that the entire COD franchise uses. The 3 modes are TDM, Demolition, and some sort of control that I have not checked out yet. Of course, the phrase Team Death Match is used loosely. Everyone runs around in opposite directions and gets shot, much like in a certain other franchise that keeps coming out every year. This game also is succeptible to hackers, just like every other FPS on the market. For some reason we can't just play the game and enjoy it. The hit detection is attrocious. There are times when it works ok and even when you die you know it is because your skills aren't up to others'. Then there's plenty of times when you shoot someone who is facing the other direction, emptying your entire clip into the back of their head or chest and they simply turn around and one shot you. All of this makes for a frustrating experience.

Story? There is none. In fact, I would go as far as to say that this has absolutely nothing to do with Ghost In The Shell. It's just a skin with some of their voices.

-Cons: Fix the controller support
Improve slow and clunky controls
Find some magical way for the bullets to get to where you are aiming.
