Games aight, but a bit light on content. There is pretty much only a curated campaign of missions which are good and solve a lot of the procedural generation problems of MW5 (such as SRM40 tanks spawning right behind you) but also means there is not much to do after you complete it. In addition this game was promised
PvP multiplayer support but piranah being the company they are sold it separate for $20 and vastly limited the usefulness of this mode so as not to drive people away from milking MWO (the only option for PvP for over a decade now and their main source of revenue)

Solid campaign, well worth the price IMO, i just wouldnt expect much past that.

Best co-op experience I have had in a long time, and you can experience as much stress or as much chill as you want. This game is all about going at your own pace and doing what you want to do. If you loved the old school harvest moon spirit, this is right where you should be looking.

Awesome entry into the Total War series. I have found the Warhammer additions to be way more enjoyable than the historical entries as I often feel very restrained by prewritten history. Three Kingdoms not only provides a beautiful historic backdrop, the story is one very much of my own making; interwoven with the interactions between characters, the rise, fall, and succession of factions, and a good dose of empire building to really make the plot special.

I don't feel like a faction who HAS to conquer the world... I feel like a faction who slowly realizes its own destiny.

Battles are still very much Total War, though city battles can be a little rough with the towers.
The campaign map has just been totally nailed though. All the best improvement on the series has gone into this aspect of the game and its spectacular.

Unique faction gameplay and FOUR new lords to boot, this dlc is pretty rocking. Kinda expensive for the content, but thats pretty much anything with a Games Workshop tag.

The army plays pretty fun with weak bulk units alongside overpowered big units and an interesting summoning mechanic based on your own losses. I find the Tomb Kings to have a lot better unit mix synergy and require a bit more managment than some of the other factions, but the victories feel more statisfying as a result.

Have not tried Mortal Empire with them yet but see a problem with army and unit limits that might hinder their ability to conquer and hold the expanded campaign map there.

Worth it if you enjoy new armies and variety, price is a little high though if you are only casually passing through this game.

While quickly repeative, every match is a struggle. Objectives, killing enemies and liberating warpstones battle for priorty and often at the cost of the lives of your warband. The joy of seeing your fallen warrior rise back up as a meglomaniac is on par with the frustration of your caster smiting himself into oblivion.

The only real draw back to this game is the small studio who made it. While they did an excellent job, the game feels half finished while production has moved on to a very similiar version of the same game set in the 40k universe.
