What I thought I was getting: your classic funky brain-less mmo experience with little to no story.
What I got instead: a deep, moving narrative with lovely, memorable characters, a beautiful soundtrack and a story that left me emotionally damaged and attacked me in my very own house.
I'm suing you SE.

What I thought this was about: no-brainer chaotic + funky shooting
What it actually is about: the deep bonds of friendship between the gang members
Verdict: This game is so ridiculous but it's so amazing and I love it dearly! <3

Do you want a simple, straightforward point & click adventure game? You will be disappointed. But do you want a remarkable sensory and emotional experience that you will keep thinking about long after it's over? Do you want a haunting, bittersweet Americana story about the evils of capitalism and the sensation of traveling on the road, detached from your reality? Kentucky Route Zero lives in my head rent free and I can't even complain because it's the most unique experience video games-speaking I have ever been through.

Spiritfarer is one of the most beautiful, soothing and unique games I have ever played. And for a game that's about death and learning how (and when) to say goodbye, it also teaches you to appreciate the little things - the ones that are worth living for, the ones that give your life meaning. It's such a precious experience regardless of what your usual game preference is, and I highly reccomend trying it out.

First of all, let me get this straight: I hate playing as evil in video games; except for this one. Tyranny is one the most powerful and unique game experiences I've ever been through and it's because of the way it tackles being evil. Also, I don't think I have ever played a game before with so many possible choices (that WILL come and bite you in the ass, ngl). The story is engaging, the characters are intriguing, and the soundtrack is an absolute masterpiece.

10/10 funky villain simulator, will always play it again

I love this game. I love how dark and somber it is, yet with a few glimpses of hope. It's one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played. So worth the wait.

(Also the soundtrack slaps.)
