I waited so long to play this, I was interested for years and wishlisted it as soon as I saw it was coming out and stayed away from everything, 16 hours in and I have no idea what I'm doing but I think this is the most fun I've had gaming in the last 5-6 years, this the most obscenely complex (to a somewhat laughable level sometimes) game I've ever played and I don't know what I'm doing but it's fun as hell.

Buy it, it's worth it.

I'm at 80 hours and my first run is going amazing, my population has hit 70 and it's very well spread in happiness, I literally can't believe the insane stuff I'm witnessing happen... this game for £25/$30 is a huge bargain, there's so much wealth of content in here, so much to do, always more things to make in preparation for the next trade caravan to come on through, and there're always annoyed dwarves to try and help not get themselves killed, maimed or worse, die of hunger and dehydration in a tree 5 feet from your food stockpiles... I love this game.
