I always wanted to play Half-Life but thanks to how it's aged I could never could get invested. This recreation was perfect! Xen especially was breathtaking.

Great puzzle game, the inspiration from Portal really shines through in a good way. The mechanics and puzzles are well established and very satisfying to master. Well worth your time - try it out and buy the full game if you like what you see!

First of all, I recommend anyone that is interested in this game to buy The Definitive Experience, which as well as some nice cosmetic items includes Ground Zeroes, which is best experienced BEFORE playing The Phantom Pain.
Secondly, this game is really long. It's many missions can be repetitive for some, but if you embrace the open-world aspects of this game and experiment with different playstyles, it's always entertaining, and the different ways even familiar missions can unfold will surprise you. Metal Gear Online is very dead, but FOB infiltration targets are plentiful, if you don't mind taking on high level players now and again. Great story, too, with a few plotholes and retcons, but ultimately an unforgettable experience that is well worth trying. Plenty here for completionists too.

My first time playing Ground Zeroes, I was outraged. I thought it was an overpriced demo masked as a triple A game. After coming back to it several times, I have seen the strengths of it, and actually committed to 100%'d it, and I daresay I enjoy it more that The Phantom Pain, thanks to it's darker mood, densely packed level design, and extra ops and challenge tasks that kept me thinking up new and exciting strategies that I had never even thought of trying even in TPP. I highly recommend it to any PC player looking for an introduction to Metal Gear or looking to play The Phantom Pain, as well as anyone interested in stealth games or tactical shooters.

Incredible game with breathtaking artwork and genuine player choice. Each encounter is underlined by a fantastic, dynamic soundtrack that I can't help but keep coming back to listen to!

A fantastic, engaging mod that has so much love and effort poured into every detail that you can't help being blown away by it.
