I first gave this a positive review but now I dont recommend it anymore mainly due some design choices later in the game. The dev has made quite a few patches to balance the game out more but to me the game isnt fun anymore later in the game.

examples are enemies that have shields that can only be broken certain ways which feel frustrating, Elites that teleport a lot making grappling them or slide kicking them annoying. enemies that teleport away from the game only to come back in an attack move onto you, it can be dodge anad you get a warning but you also have to dodge other enemies as well, elite enemies blocking your attacks from certain directions or some all directions the combat gets too overwhelming too often and I find elite enemies not fun to fight

Ive seen some clips of people absolutely flawless levels but to me its just not fun anymore to play feeling punished for making small mistakes and that feeling of momentum loss from certain enemies really ruin the game for me

when I played the first demo I wasnt really sold on it but now that the game is out in EA and I spend more time on it I started to like it a lot.

what scares me is that people will try to game, not understand how its played best, get their heads bashed in and quit.
so if you're reading this review learning the blindspots of each vehicle and maintaining speed is very important to survival. also staying in a group is also key to winning.

yeah Im loving this game, its focus on exploration rather than survival is for me a perfect fit. the setting of an underground secret research space makes it stand out as well from other survival games rather then you in the wild with small man made structures. the game is clearly taking inspirations from Black mesa but also from SCP and Im very much looking forward to see what content and ideas they are planning on adding next
