man. I just like this game. and the work done in the Better SADX mod is fantastic. original port glitches fixed and playing 21:9 high res with slick mouse camera (Steam Controller trackpad mapped) is a dream. you can even use the original Dreamcast models and textures! really the version to play if you want some modern niceness but have a lot of the Dreamcast version experience( or GameCube, if that was your first time playing).

Short Tale Full of Charm

First off, Broken Age this is not. It's production values won't wow you, but I imagine if you're looking at these reviews considering a purchase you are already past that barrier. What you want to know is if it's worth your time, and to that I would say yes.

It's a humble game, made with the inherently humble medium of clay animation. It's difficult to say much about it without spoiling the game(it's only a little over an hour long!) but you will be following the life of Dominique as she tries to solve a perplexing case, learning much about the little dramas/issues of the people involved, and making difficult choices regarding integrity towards the end. Though a bit repetitive, I liked the music and it does it's job of enhancing the quirky feel. My main complaint is some of the themes touched upon don't get time to be fleshed out as much as they could, but perhaps the fact that it doesn't belabor it's points is exactly what makes it a nice little ride.

It's great, short, charming fun for an audience that can appriciate weird things. It's not for everyone, but it's made with heart, and we need more games like that.
