I have NEVER had a major studio release fail this hard with me and I'm a big Star Wars fan. I played Cyberpunk 2077 all the way thru on dated PC hardware on launch and it ran miles and miles better than this does on much more modern hardware (3070ti), which should be, all things considered, an easy game to port and play on PC. It has great gameplay fundamentals, what DOOM Eternal was to DOOM 2016, but the performance takes out any and all enjoyment. I'm at a mission where Bode and Cal traverse a large vertical section in the later half of the game and I cannot cross 25 fps in just traversal, no combat. If anyone has suggestions, hit me up!

For this game, I don't think it's necessary to finish it to leave a review. This game is amazing.

(that being said I'd love more fps. 3070ti getting 50 fps, maybe it's just me)

Great game. 9.8/10.

FromSoft's first open world has much more content than most open world games and franchises that have existed for a decade now. Legacy dungeons are fantastic. Combat is improved without losing any of the charm of older systems. Some of the best bosses of the series, any main boss, especially, is designed meticulously. Every main map section (except 1) has beautiful art direction, and the story gives you real motivation to explore. Extremely streamlined pvp system.

Open world games are still underwhelming and while this map is massive and filled with content, some locations seem utterly useless unless going there is for a questline. Many reused enemies, major enemies, and mini-bosses to where you go through a fog door and just roll your eyes.

Edit August 2023: The PvP for this game is amazing (as someone who hasn't done so in DS3, which is highly praised). Weapon variety and Ash of War customization is a blast to mess with. My only wish is for better connection at times but I've never found the online experience unplayable.

cool if you like star wars but the combat isn't engaging and the story / locations are very uninspired and similar
