Great learning curve and very fun/exciting, especially when playing with friends (swf). Killers can be toxic (camping you while on hook, etc) but that's just the internet... Highly recommend learning HOW to use your perks to your advantage. trust.

Early Access Review
I love this game, knowing that with more love from the devs, it will be a very thorough and captivating experience.

After only playing for a few hours, these are some observations, thoughts and suggestions I've made.

PROS:
  • Above average level/environment design, big map to explore
  • Good audio, sfx, ambient sounds
  • Nice lighting and graphics (with the graphics settings turned up)
  • Many items to use to hunt down bigfoot (cameras, drones, traps, meat and more)
  • Flare guns/signal flares to use for defense and extra lighting at night

CONS:
  • The items you use to hunt and survive are very scarce and seemingly non-regenerative (ex: ammo, first-aid kits, traps, flare gun rockets)
  • The foot step sounds made by your character sound like they're coming from his/her shoulders, not underneath him/her from their feet.
  • When walking or running, there are no animations for the item begin held.

THOUGHTS:
Items - I think consumable items (ammo, first-aid kits, traps, etc.) need to restock themselves in one way or another, to allow the players to actually continue playing the game.
Hunger/Thirst - This is a common survival game feature used to increase the difficulty of, well, surviving. I think this game could add in hunger and thirst to increase it's difficulty.

SUGGESTIONS:
Items - Add supply crates in random locations around the map at random times then ping the players on the map to where a new crate is located. This forces the players to go out and find the crate, risk encountering bigfoot, but get rewarded with much-needed supplies.
Hunger/Thirst - Hunt animals to get meat, use a campfire to cook the meat (inedible when uncooked). After eating a meat, restore some health and reduce hunger. After drinking some water from a canteen, reduce thirst by some amount. Refill canteens from the RV (pre-purified), from a river/lake via a water purifier.

NOTES:
I've noticed other people complaining about how little damage the guns have. What I've noticed when playing is that the guns kill any normal animal (deer, raccoons, foxes, etc.) in the map with only one shot, which makes sense and is rather satisfying. When you shoot bigfoot however, he barely loses any health per normal rifle bullet. This may make less sense to a normal FPS gamer, but I still think it works fine for this game because the cyclical process of hunting bigfoot wouldn't last nearly as long. I enjoy drawn-out hunting games that take time, patience and discovery. It makes finding and hunting the big boy more rewarding. All in all, I think the bullet damage is fine, we just need a way to receive more items (ammo, first-aid kits, traps, etc).
