Initially, I was sceptical about the idea of having champions with different abilities in what was supposed to be the purest and most skill based FPS arena shooter in the world. After more than 400 hours and as the game progresses on and on in its current Early-Access phase one thing is becoming obvious to me. That is just how much more interesting, tactical, diverse and straight out fun the different champions with their individual movement styles, speeds, handlings, stacks and abilities make this game than any previous Quakes I have played. Sure, there is hiccoughs here and there and you have to be prepared to get smashed a lot by more skilled and experienced players, but NO GAME IN THE WORLD is more satisfying IF you get it right, if you hit that pixel perfect clutch rail shot that wins you the match or rocket jump up to your unsuspecting opponent and tear him to pieces with your gauntlet (which is basically a circular saw in a glove).

If you like fast paced, competitive games that require and reward skill, tactics, and movement this is what you want. Once you go quake, you never go back.
