Well! That`s an action RPG made right by all means. And it`s only early access. I would give this game an 8 out of 10 right now and it has only space to achieve greatness. Let`s focus on what`s important here. This game might not be for everyone. It has alot of things that works in other games mixed togheter and that might not be everyone`s cup of tea. But if you like an interesting game with a true sensation of acomplishment, and you like games like Diablo 2, Monster Hunter, Battle Brothers and last but not least, bloodborne (or any other souls game) them you will feel quite at home at some point, playing this game. Give it a try and please, don`t try to change it from what it is.

Take it like that, If your recomendation (or not) is based on a preference like " it should be easier", or "it should have some of this or that", be clear about it. Anyone is entitled to have opinions but by all means, don`t let those appear anything more than what it is.

And for everyone else try it out. In my opinion it`s a gem, but make your own conclusions about it! Cheers!

Edit: Mainly with 1.33 the problems with save corrupted files are fixed, which makes me happy to say that now this game has alot of potential and feels rly good to play.

Earlier review before the fix:

"First of all I'm loving this game! Which is why it saddens me to have to leave a negative review on it. I'm currently on an awesome journey in the AoC module and playing it on Archmage Difficulty (yes I'm one of those masochists fellas out there). The Old school graphics are all right and the enviroment and sound settings are all okish. The AI is fantastic and gives me the all around feeling that there's no equal experience even if you replay encounters! That's the good part of it!

Now for the bad part and this is a HUGE ALERT for anyone who wants to buy this game.

It's has a lot of issues with corrupted save files and loosing hunches of your playthrough! Saving the game alot should be something to counteract that but guess what. When you save (this happened 3 times already) there's also a possibility of breaking the game which corrupts your save and looses you a hunch of your playthrough time!

Also quests: Some decisions you can take to solve many quests in the game actually breaks the game (yeah I know it`s a repetitive loop of breaking, but it`s less annoying to read it here than to experience it there).

The most frustrating thing for me is the fact that I wanna play this game, and unfortunately it`s not the ddifficulty settings that is keeping me away from it, but instead the possibility of having to redo a huge chunk of playthrough not because i want to, but because of those mentioned problems.

At last: Don`t ever try IronMan. I lost a 8 hours progression run because of this and there`s no way to tell when it`s gonna break or not, so using some save backup strategy also doesn`t work.

There you go! Dev if you`re reading this, know that I trully apreciate what you`re doing, but please fix it ASAP, because the worst thing would be taking this hidden gem out of question because of the frustration experienced by bugs!"

Very good game with the best souls feature into an open world style! No brainer yes for this one!

This game has it all settled. Brought to you by Owlcat, that previously released Kingmaker, also in Pathfinder rules system, Wrath of the Righteous is being stated by many as one of the greatest CRPG’s of this era, and that’s totally understandable, because the developer managed to bring from the pen&paper setting a lot of the intricate systems that appeal to fans of Golarion, a world that is something like Forgotten Realms for those of you lovers of D&D settings.

Wrath of the Righteous, despite the bugs, which are being taken care off with the weekly patches, has all the good stuff in it, and some more. The love and the respect for the original Adventure Path published by Paizo is shown in every detail thrown out there, complimented with the amazing sound settings and the overall outstanding graphics for a CRPG. That alongside the rules system itself brings a lot of possibilities to this universe and replayability to an already huge campaign.

So, if you love fantasy settings inserted into a D20 rules system this game might be your sweet cup of tea.

Even though the art style is beautifull the rest of the game is mostly unsatisfying. It has that feeling of a mobile game. Come on, how is this game getting 8/10 ratings, when it is at most a 5/10, is somehow strange at minimum. The puzzle combat is not well implemented to the point you gotta avoid killing stuff just to complete objectives! I don't think it can be improved to become a great game although it might become decent somewhere down a long road if the devs are willing to put that much efort. So this one is a no if you're looking for an interesting challenge and a maybe if you wanna kill time and listen to repeating annoying sounds.

Seems a good CRPG with a lot of potential. I like the classic style!

One, if not, the best CRPG of the decade... Seriously, this is a gem. Try it, find out, don't give up, get adicted, never stop playing.
