Edit: One week after writing this the dev released a patch that allows you to pause during countdowns + a few other things. There are still some serious QOL issues, but for $8 I'd say its worth it.

The game is a lot of fun, but major UI problems cause a lot of issues. There is no autosave, when one of your airports is full you get 5 seconds to quickly push a button and the game doesn't allow you to pause, so if you aren't paying attention or don't click fast enough you lose all your progress back to when you last saved. Its difficult to track passenger origins, you just have to guess. It might still be a buy for $8, but you'll probably play a few times, get frustrated and stop.
