if you plan to play this on steam deck be prepared to rage. i can't even start the game with an external controller even though it works fine in the setup menus.

This game is about to become my new time sink. It works well on Steam Deck. The only trouble is entering a town name with the keyboard.

do not buy for the Steam Deck. I want a refund

This is a fun game for police role play. It has a lot of the features that have been missing in other police games. The call outs get a bit repetitive and if you play too much it will lose it's luster pretty quick but for an early access game it has good potential. A few annoying things I hope change would be the driving and CP tolerances. I have been dinged so many times for speeding but there's hardly any way to figure out what the speed limits are. There are signs but they're not in a normal US format so I missed them a lot but they're still hard to catch at times once you know what to look for. A simple solution would be a speed limit overlay when you're driving. I also got dinged for towing a car after I arrested the driver for DUI. Seriously are you just supposed to leave a car in the middle of the road. That needs to get fixed quickly. Also as you walk around there's cars parked all over the place on the sidewalks but if you ticket them it penalizes you also. It only takes a little bit to get used to the CP system but these things are obviously wrong and need correction. All in all I like the game and look forward to future developments.

Screw this game. If you want to be killed over and over by pre firing wall hacking douchebags go ahead and buy it. You spend a ton of time looking for a weapon only to be killed before you can even load it in some instances. Seriously I like the mobile version and I do well in that but the PC version is garbage. The lag is horrible and the game mechanics are terrible. There's a steep learning curve that makes veteran FPS players want to punch a baby. I've been playing competetive shooters ever since Battlefield 1942 and I have to say this is by far the worst experience I've had in a PVP shooter so far. I don't know what else to say other than it's definitely not worth the money.

I'm confused by all the negative reviews. I just bought the game and spent a few hours building a park and rollercoasters etc.. I'm enjoying the game. The camera is smooth and the placement is fairly good. I love the coaster builder in this. It's leaps and bounds above RCT3. I have no trouble linking my track to the station like I did in RCT3 sometimes.

IT's not perfect it took me a few minutes to figure out the menu and camera controls. There's a lot missing but I think it will be in the final release. The fences are really bad and I hope theyll rethink those to be able to snap to the pathways or allow users to shape them like pathways. Speaking of pathways I'm not sure why you can't make cue lines curved but I would like to see that. other notable things that's missing are the transport rides which is the thing I like the most in RCT3. There needs to be more default rides and scenery but whats in the game is pretty solid so far. As far as the frame drop goes I did have a pretty big frame drop but the honest truth is I never noticed it until I looked at the fame counter.

Right now I would recommend this over planet coaster if you can only afford one. The only reason I say that is because you can actually play this game now. The Steam vrsion of planet coaster hints to being able to play early if you buy the deluxe package but thats not so. I have watched videos on youtube about both of these games and RollerCoaster Tycoon World doesn't look as fleshed out as Planet Coaster but after playing it despite the negative reviews I'm quite happy with this game.

I should have heeded the reviews of this program. I downloaded it installed it and ran the program only to find a toolbar with many buttons that seem to have lots of options. The thing is though nothing shows up on the viewer. I have a completely white screen. This is a known issue, there's a thread on the steam forums thats 3 months old and still nothing has been done.

Edit** I have redownloaded this to a different PC and it's working fine. My other PC has some settings that were conflicting with the program. At this point I've been building a coaster and everything is working nicely. I changed my review to a thumbs up because this is exactly what it says it is.

Waste of money. I didn't get the preorder bonus. The map is ok but the new vehicles are worthless and the there's nothing else to the expansion. you get more with the DLC packs that are available.

I'm really let down by this.
