Early Access Review
Kinda neutral, leaning more towards negative so I gave it a negative review.

Basically it's KoS and no one even bothers to talk, and those who do yell racial slurs at you. Not fun community, however gameplay is fun should you be able to isolate yourself from the toxicity.

I'll be honest, the launch was rough. What could you expect? A vast majority of other online games at launch find themselves crashing. It's nothing unusual, and defiantly not worth judging the game over. Blame yourself, if anything. Hordes of people all trying to connect at once can do that to a server.

Anyway, to the review portion.

I played the beta so I have an idea of how it works, and I had some playtime last night in betwen the server crashes.

Cinematics and Graphics: 9/10

I'm gonna be honest, the cinematics are pretty great. The game, if ran at proper settings looks beautiful. I noticed the graphics were a bit glitchy in places- probably due to the server errors at the time. Overall though, it did look very nice and adds a good sense of atmosphere.

Audio: 9/10

I've found there isn't too much directional audio as one might hope in a shooter game, but that's fine. Constant sounds of the city moving, as if it's a living organism. They really went the full length to perfect the audio, and it paid off.

Missions: 8/10

Honestly, their nothing too challenging. I have yet to try it on hard mode so I wouldn't know. (Also note I only got the chance to do the low level ones before doing this review.) I feel like hard mode might elevate the difficulty, and as you progress i'm sure they will get harder- I'll update this if they don't. Could use some polishing as A.I. seems a bit wonky at times but overall it's good.

Other:

Good voice actors, good modeling. All that jazz. Also, you can shoot birds out of the sky. That's pretty nice.

FInal review: 8.7/10

Worth getting for sure.

Got banned for accidently having single player trainer running while going online. (Was trying out new trainers for single player, tihs one didn't even work but apparently still counted as a running file.)

Sent a message to Rockstar support. Got, in a fraction of a second, an automated response telling me the same thing the last one did.

10/10 customer support, would lose 60 dollars again to crappy customer service.

Early Access Review
Squad... wow. There isn't much more to say about it.

You play a variety of roles, in a variety of teams. You're goal is to work together with your squad (hence the name of the game) and capture points and other tasks similar. Immediately upon joining your first game, you will come to realize the intensity of this game. This isn't for the weak-hearted; this is for those looking for a fun, challenging and realistic gameplay experience.

Game Play: 8.5/10 - Since it's in alpha, there are still some minor things that could be improved, but overall gameplay is rather fluid and seamless.

Graphics: 9/10 - Let me tell you, these graphics are perfect. They capture things perfectly and only help support the realism and intensity of the fire fights. Probably one of the key things that makes the game so incredible, and I only expect the graphics to get better as it exits Early Access.\

Sound/Audio: 8/10 - After playing for a while, you get used to the gunshots. Let me tell you, though, that when you first join and you here those gunshots go off and those explosions, there isn't anything quiet about it. As I said before, it only helps to capture the realism and in a way, makes it scarier, like an actual firefight.

The community of this game is incredible. You don't see 12 year olds screaming in to their microphone, or trolls hoping to ruin the game experience for you. The developers interact closely with the community, and everyone is supportive of eachother. When in combat (and out of combat) I feel like they are brothers to me, and I don't want any of them to get shot up. There is a sense of comradery, and that's what makes the game so excellent.

Final Notes: I personally was avoiding early access games, as I had been let down in the past. I decided to go on a limb after seein the glowing reviews of Squad, and let me tell you, I was not dissapointed. This is not your average early access game. If anything, this game is almost ready for launch; that's how well set up it is. So, even if you are one of those people who are against early access, I encourge you to take the chance like I did and get this game. You won't be dissapointed.

Final Score: 8.7/10

TL;DR: Get the game.

TL;DR If it's on sale or you got the money laying around, buy it.

Ryse: Son of Rome is an excellent game, in both graphics and story. Throughout it, you find yourself captivated with the intriguing plot as well as the photo-realistic graphics.

As the game description says, you are Marius Titus. You see your family slaughtered, and then set on a quest for revenge. I was hooked the whole time playing, and at the same time learned a fair share of Roman mythology.

Final Rating: 8.5/10

NOTE: Short play time, so consider waiting for a sale.

A MUST PLAY

I have never felt so cringey.

No matter how you play, no matter how desperately you try, she decides to screw you over and then you just become some cringey mess.

At the end, you literally lose all hope.

On a more serious note, this game really makes you think and is honestly just a fun and in some ways, mentally painful game. It reminded me of some personal things, and in the end was just a really good play. And it's free. That's nice too.

Overall: 9/10

I highly recommend this game for a multide of reasons.

While some complain it is "pay to play", it is truly optional. In no way are you forced to pay, everything can be earned through dedication to the game. Anyway, to the key points why I recommend this game:

- Free to play
- Amazing graphics
- Lots of explosions
- Historically acurrate gameplay

Honestly, my advice is try it for yourself, it's free after all.
