I don't know what it is about Sam Barlow's games, but they get under my skin like no other.

They make me feel like I'm sneaking into a mystery that nobody was meant to see. They keep me disoriented, but so hungry to know more.

And it all feels SO real. I had sessions where I needed a good hour to physically shake out of the dread.

The game is an incredible display of narrative design and cinematography. It's also coming to Netflix Games, so you could wait for that to play it. But it's definitely worth the purchase if you want to support people pushing the boundaries of what a game, and/or a movie, can be.

Beautiful, cozy. I'm always excited to return to the game every day, and to see what's new on the island.

Trine 4 wowed me from the moment we launched the game. It's as beautiful and atmospheric as ever. The puzzle are really well balanced between the satisfyingly quick ones, the ones that make you think a bit longer, and the ones where you go "I'm 99% sure that was not the intended solution, but it somehow worked :D".

I love the way new mechanics are introduced through the game, opening up the puzzling possibilities progressively. It feels cleverly designed to keep you engaged. Also, even having played Trine 1 and 2 (a while back, to be fair), the game didn't feel like It was just repeating whatever I did in those games, which is quite the achievement for a game that on the surface, appears to be rather similar.

It's not mechanically perfect. It's gonna require much more time from you than Her Story, and leave you with less of a compelling ending than Her Story.

But it's not about the destination, it's about the journey. And to me, the journey is much more memorable than Her Story.

The writing, the large cast of wildly different characters, the theme of Lies being repeated all over in different ways...All of this weighted much more on my heart, and left a bigger imprint.

It involves a lot of staring at characters staring at a screen in silence...But this, to me, made it much more personal. I connected. I sympathized.

I loved it.

Once again, an amazing collaboration between Amanita and the band DVA, to create a visual and musical universe like nothing before. The game is light, fresh, whimsical, surprising, beautiful.

An interactive experience like no other.

Whenever my brother and I have 30 minutes in front of us, this is our go-to game.

I can't recommend this game enough. It's elegant, simple, and exciting.
