I recommend this game BUT wait for Hotfixes and Updates!

PRO(S):


-The game's atmosphere is beyond perfect. Basically this is the only reason why I'm still playing despite the
numerous issues with the game. The game's general sound design is awesome, you are going to love every
little noise you hear (some might be scary AF tho). Music isn't anything out of the ordinary, it's good and fits
the situations they are implemented in. Gunplay is interesting, I would say it's between somewhere the overly
realistic Tarkov and overly casual CoD/Battlefield. To me, it's kind of the golden spot, it's actually challenge to
aim and shoot properly and effectively. The Game's graphics are mid. The visuals are okay and serves a major
role to make the game feel atmospheric of course, but in terms of just how it looks overall, we've seen a tons
of better looking games. I would say graphically it's stuck in 2015-16, but again it doesn't hurt your eyes, so
it's fine. Looting and weight system, don't want to talk about it much, I enjoy looting and managing my
backpack and how much I can carry, for some it's annoying, for some it's a "Minigame".

CON(S):

- The Game's performance is absolutely horrible. Don't even try to run this game without DLSS or FSR FG.

- The Game's AI is in the same shape as it's performance. It's godly awful, the monster's pathfiding reminds me of games before 2010. They can get stuck in fences, stuck in objects. I play the game on Stalker difficulty, which supposed to be the normal, but I really doubt it's the normal of other games if that make sense. Soldiers/Human NPC's are LITERALLY cheating on this difficulty, they notice you from 50m+ in the bush and start shooting at you precisely IN PITCH BLACK. Stealth is near impossible with the current AI, it's either too dumb or inhumanly good, aka it cheats.

- The Game is infested with bugs, HUD dissapearing. NPC being stuck, you being stuck.


Verdict : This game has serious issues, but once it gets ironed out it will be absolutely worth your time and money. The Devs already stated they are working hard on fixing bugs and the performance, give the game a few months and buy it, play it, enjoy it.

America Simulator

I love ark and this game looks otherworldy on max settings, however it's currently a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage. Horribly optimized, buggy, unstable trash. Buy a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ box of cigarette instead of this ♥♥♥♥.

The game had potential to be great and is still an okay game currently but it is 100% doomed. First of all, there are huge balance issues and also the Lead Dev of the game considers "assriding" a skillful "mechanic". Just by that you can guess that the combat often turns out to be absolute garbage and ridiculous. A 30kg velo often a tougher opponent for a Rex than a huge Coah/Sai/Acro, which is an absolute joke. (all of this because of the assriding btw). The Community has to be one of the worst I've ever encountered in any game, no doubt there are some decent players but majority of the players are Karen material.
Oh, I forgot to tell that the Devs also need to be really carefull with their decision making because the community is so toxic a mere bad decision can kill a game very easily, this is not a joke. They once introduced a dumb mechanic, the community got used to it and the devs tried to remove it cause it turned out to be a bad mechanic and the game almost died lmfao.

I don't recommend buying it because the game won't last. It gets no new players and since the community is atrocious the game cannot go past it's current "level" as a game. I would be really suprised if this game would last more than 2 years with how things currently going.

It's a pretty unique tactical shooter, and I would say it's a good game. However I wouldn't start playing it alone, because the game builds a lot on teamwork. So play the game if you have a team/friends and make sure you have a few painkillers at home.

This game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke. I won't list the issues because there are thousands of people who already did that. The current game definitely doesn't worth $60. Wait until they patch it into a whole game.
