Yes.

VERY fun. It's not perfect, there are some bugs here and there (and custom lobbies have some serious issues on occasion) but try to remember this is a beta test.
Takes a little while to get characters after you've spent the gold from the starter missions but it's not excessively grind-heavy. Overall very enjoyable; I like the unique take on teams-play, perks are fun and aren't obnoxiously strong and best of all the game's FREE right now - nothing to lose if you try it out! c:

If you like fighting games, especially if you want a more straight-forward one, then you'll enjoy this. Or even if you're just a Dragon Ball fan.

Very easy to pick up compared to other fighting games I've played but still well-designed. For the most part, the characters are pretty well-balanced. You can win online without owning any DLC (even though many of the DLC chars are top-tier).
My singular complaint is about GT Goku's hitbox being too small but it's manageable.

Fundamentals are relatively easy to learn, just spend a lotta time in the tutorials, combo challenges and hard Arcade mode. Characters and combos are not very complicated, the hardest thing about this game is managing your movement and actions properly and knowing match-ups.

And the aesthetic choices are also pretty great. From the dramatic finishes to the character interactions, it's all really really fun. And story mode is hilariously enjoyable with everyone throwing shade left and right.

Early-to-mid game is fun, and significantly easier now. They basically hand-hold you for the first 3 regions, and after that it becomes a bit more difficult (more so if you're not used to this type of game) but it's nothing over-the-top.
But once you get to region 11, the difficulty curve stops being a curve and just goes vertically upwards for a bit.

vanilla + Osiris + Warmind more than makes up for the pricing controversy we had recently

Plus they've made some really nice touch-ups and improvements on the littler things from D1 so I'm glad about that as well
Plus no content-locking by the most recent expansion, that's a 10/10 all on its own

The only thing really bad about this game is (some of) the people that play it.

It is an excellent and awesome game and I'd recommend to it to anyone that likes fighting platformers.
It's fun and it's a great game PLUS IT'S FREE.
