The drop in quality from witch queen and its amazing campaign and seasons, to this monetized to hell paywalled dog pile should be studied as a class on what devs should NOT do. Id rather pay a monthly sub fee so that way, when the content quality falls to the ocean floor of Titan, I can unsub and save $80 dollars instead of spending $100 every year for a half baked, incomplete campaign since the focus is really on reviving an old franchise that was DOA back in the 90's, which will be DOA again since Fortnite is still popping off. It was never Activision.

FATE is a roguelike dungeon crawler, with little story but the potential for multiple playthroughs. A great game I remember using cheats on endlessly when I was a child and a game I enjoyed beating as an adult.

Within the last year the game has steadily gone downhill, and re-approached the original P2W model of ArcheAge that Unchained was created to combat. The Archepass, a system that was alright and added content that gave you a reason to log on besides Nation PVP, has been stripped away of its utility first, cosmetic second approach, and now embraces rewarding players who pay their 10 dollar a month fee for the extra bonuses. At least the original ArcheAge knew it was P2W, and just put the items in the shop for you. Labor is a weird system, one that I think is neat, but almost always forces the player base to pay for a second or even third account, because you cant harvest your crops, do trade runs, AND upgrade your gear all in the same day without paying for the extra labor boost the pass gives you. Its an amazing concept, the open world feels alive and the insanely large scale PVP was always super fun. Hopefully ArcheAge 2 is different, at least for the first year or so until the devs decide to milk that game too.

Meh. Is okay. Fun to play with friends. Not a singleplayer game for sure.
