Very fun game with friends, especially when streaming.

If you want a low vibes day, just boot this up and kick back.

This is a game that anyone can pick up, play and laugh at together whether it's with controllers locally or online with strangers. It's a side-scrolling, side-swimming, beat-em-up, boss-em-up, level-em-up, addicting, peas-got-into-your-mashed-potatoes casual, hardcore game that's way easier to play than it is to explain. I've already invested a lot of time into the PS3 version but somehow found myself doing the same here because it's worth repeating, which is a rare case since most games get criticized for being too repetitive. Castle Crashers and subsequent Behemoth games show that it takes a lot of heart and honesty to make a fun and engaging game that can last generations. There doesn't need to be a Castle Crashers 2 the same way there doesn't need to be a Team Fortress 3: When the game is already perfect, there doesn't need to be another.

Fun with random people online!

I randomly pop into this game from time to time and play for a little bit on my dinky laptop. That's the big sell for Behemoth games, they don't need much to run!

It's fun listening to the amazing soundtrack and deck out my team with hand drawn cosmetics that I earn by capturing more team members wearing them! It's cool, even if you aren't playing the story. I mean you can't be on steam without playing a Behemoth game. Looking forward to Alien Hominid!

Early Access Review
Like many others have said, this game is so far removed from the tile-based, MM: Battle Network reboot that it originally promised to be back in 2012. I wanted to provide constructive critiscism upon playing the 2015 version of the Early Access launch but there was nothing I could give other than "Go back to the original Kickstarter demo format."

With Kickstarter, there's a 50/50 chance the game you're backing could be like Shovel Knight, which became a surprise megalomanical hit or this, which slowly degenerated it's development over time and caused both the fans and the development team to give up on it.

There's nothing I can really review about this game that hasn't been said. It's less tactical and more real time focused, a button-masher with confusing and sometimes difficult gameplay. The first demo from the kickstarter and subsequent demos were real-time tactical gameplay but were more rewarding to play based on the limited tile spaces, even with my obvious bugs. Not all games become like this, but that's the risk you take. I don't regret my decision in backing this, seeing as that was 5 years ago; I just want another MM: BattleNetwork game, someday.

Best use of a a Farm Animal I've ever seen in my decade of gaming. You can literally force animals to carry your stuff. They don't care, couriers don't give a ♥♥♥♥.

Super House of Dead Ninjas is a fun, fast paced game that I can't get enough of. You're placed in a tower because you want a truckload of treasure, which is said to be at the very bottom. You must make your way down 250 floors while fighting monkeys, dragons, and other cheap monsters -- it's as easy as it sounds -- except you will die, a lot.

In this game, you must hack and slash your way through different kinds of enemies placed on each "floor" of the tower. Throughout your subsequent playthroughs, you will unlock new weapons that will add some variety to the game. There's so much to do with ample challenge placed every step of the way. Controls are precise and smooth and there are lots of weapons with upgrades that act as objectives. You can unlock power ups by completing other objectives as well as upgrades to items / lives. The boss fights keep you on your toes and Hard mode tasks you with no continues. I felt myself walking on hot coals with my progress as the rewards were set behind more bars than I could count. The developer put a lot of love into something with such simple input.

As many times as I died, I knew there was still a prize waiting for me at the end of my game, whether it be a new record or upgrade to equip. To add even more depth to this game, there's Steam Workshop; you can create your own levels to share with others when you want as well as playing other Steam users levels at your pleasure. Super House of Dead Ninjas will keep you coming back for more when it's immersing you in it's adddictive formula ---- 10/10
