Much like they did for Star Wars with Knights of the Old Republic II, Obsidian takes the sequel baton from a major developer and runs even further and faster with it than their predecessors did. This time, however, there's a bit of sentimentality involved, as many employees at Obsidian were part of Black Isle Studios, from whom the Fallout series originated.

The game can be a bit buggy and prone to crashing at times, but trust me when I say the game's good enough to overlook that.

Even if you're not a fan of the comics or the show, you should buy this. Telltale's best game yet, in my opinion.

Get this only if you intend to study it like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ textbook. This is Civilization's bigger, slower, more Game of Thrones-y brother. You can wage wars for your kingdom, but it's so much funner to slowly creep your bloodline out across the land like inbred tendrils.

You definitely don't wanna play this by yourself, but it's very fun with friends.

It is, quite simply, awe-inspiring how much of a time sink this game is.

2003 Game of the Year, one of the first games to really put BioWare on the map, one of the first great Star Wars games... need I go on? KoTOR may not be a perfect game, but nine years after its release, it's still as good as anything else out on the market today. I know I'd rather be crossing lightsabers with a dark Jedi than listening to an army of badly-raised twelve-year-olds screaming obscenities in my ear...

Play the first one first, of course, but this game does the impossible by making an already good game even better.
