Massive improvement over SFV, i had a blast playing world tour mode, a bit sad for avatar usage limitations outside of it, overall the game is so good. It's a must buy! if you are a fighting game fan.

If u liked the thrill of the first COH you will find that COH 2 its more of the same with more.
That beign said i will mantain my review short as much as i can.
Pros:
-new mechanics for FOW, vaulting obstacles and snow maps.
-better textures and vfx than COH1.
-reverse option for vehicles.
-flamers are more lethal than before.
-smoke nades/canisters to break supression and line of sight.
-you can steal abandoned vehicles.

Cons:
-Artillery almost overall was dumbed down. (Only a few calls in from some doctrines are worthy). Artillery unit looks like mortar but with a big shell. COH1 on that side was waaay better, imo.
-The selection of doctrines:
As you may know COH1 doctrines felt right on each faction; on the other side COH2 doctrines are a mess, this all because the new system called WAR SPOILS.

These WAR SPOILS are the lame excuse that relic/sega found to mantain us grinding matches to get these so called drops. These random rewards u recieve after ending some matches will grant you with bonuses for units, skins, faceplates and more importantly DOCTRINES (AKA "commanders"). WHICH are not balanced at all, why? Because most of them are worth only for 1 ability or 2 out of 5, while the other ones are easy missed for beign useless. Now dont get me wrong, thats not the case for almost every commander so far. Still COH 1 doctrines were the best.

So if u want some commander right away u can pay for it (nowadays system for almost every game).

Very apart from these pros and cons the game still is fun to play as it is, only because at its core... its the same old COH fun we use to love.

August 2014 Edit:

As UFC player only....i've played many matches online by now and the only thing i can say its that currently the game is a total imbalance in 2's, 3's, 4's (defeating late germans players is almost impossible for so many reasons) while in 1vs1 is still manageable.

Pretty fun and addicting as long u "PAY" for the weapons. If u want some decent weapons or armor free...u will have to play over a year or so to get them. That's because the match reward is very POOR!, the weapons are TOO EXPENSIVE, and even if buy the game u will only be able to equip just ONE soldier. Greedy Ubisoft...die alongside EA!
